COURT CIRCULAR

Windsor Castle

His Excellency Mr Álvaro Gómez-Jeramillo was received in audience by The Queen today via video link and presented the Letters of Recall of his predecessor and his own Letters of Credence as Ambassador from the Republic of Colombia to the Court of St James’s.

Mrs de Gómez was also received by Her Majesty.

His Excellency Mr Nuno Brito was received in audience by The Queen via video link and presented the Letters of Recall of his predecessor and his own Letters of Credence as Ambassador from the Portuguese Republic to the Court of St James’s.

Ms Rosa Batoréu was also received by Her Majesty.

Sir Philip Barton (Permanent Under-Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs) was present.

Mrs Helen Nellis (Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Bedfordshire) was present at Luton Airport this morning upon the Arrival of The President of the Republic of Poland and welcomed His Excellency on behalf of The Queen.

Clarence House

The Prince Charles, Duke of Rothesay this morning planted a commemorative tree at Dumfries House Estate, Cumnock, Ayrshire, for the 1994 Genocide at Rwanda.

St James’s Palace

The Princess Royal, President, Racing Welfare, today attended a Charity Luncheon and unveiled a statue of Dick Francis at Aintree Racecourse, Ormskirk Road, Aintree, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Merseyside (Mr Mark Blundell).

Her Royal Highness, accompanied by Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, this evening departed Heathrow Airport, London, for Australia and Papua New Guinea.

Mr Charles Davies is in attendance.

Kensington Palace

The Duke of Gloucester, Colonel-in-Chief, The Royal Anglian Regiment, this morning received Lieutenant Colonel Adam Wolfe upon relinquishing his appointment as Commanding Officer, 3rd Battalion and Lieutenant Colonel David Haggar upon assuming the appointment.

The Duke of Gloucester, Patron, the Japan Society, and The Duchess of Gloucester this evening viewed the Japan: Courts and Culture Exhibition at The Queen’s Gallery, Buckingham Palace.
