COURT CIRCULAR

Windsor Castle

The Queen, accompanied by The Earl of Wessex, this morning visited Paddington Station, Praed Street, London W2, to mark the completion of the Elizabeth Line and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Greater London (Sir Kenneth Olisa), the Prime Minister (the Rt Hon Boris Johnson MP), the Mayor of London (the Rt. Hon. Sadiq Khan), the Rt Hon. Grant Shapps MP (Secretary of State for Transport) and the Commissioner for Transport for London (Mr Andrew Byford).

The Duke of Cambridge, on behalf of The Queen, held an Investiture at Windsor Castle this morning.

Clarence House

The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall this morning departed from Royal Air Force Brize Norton for Canada and were received this afternoon upon arrival at St John’s International Airport, Newfoundland and Labrador, by the Lieutenant Governor of Newfoundland and Labrador (Her Honour the Hon Judy Foote).

Their Royal Highnesses later attended an Official Welcome Ceremony at the Confederation Building, St John’s, and were received by the Governor-General of Canada (the Rt Hon Mary Simon) and the Rt Hon Justin Trudeau MP (Prime Minister of Canada).

The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall afterwards visited Government House, St John’s.

Their Royal Highnesses subsequently visited Quidi Vidi Village, St. John’s.

The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall this evening arrived in Ottawa and were received by the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario (the Hon. Elizabeth Dowdeswell).

Mr Clive Alderton, Mr Christopher Fitzgerald, Mrs Jennifer Jordan-Saifi, Mr Simon Enright, Mrs Jilly Hurley, Mrs Sophie Densham and Captain Asnkachew Assefa are in attendance.

Kensington Palace

The Duke of Cambridge, Colonel, Irish Guards, this afternoon presented new Colours to 1st Battalion at Windsor Castle.

St James’s Palace

The Countess of Wessex this morning opened Royal Army Chaplains’ Museum at the Armed Forces Chaplaincy Centre, Faringdon Road, Shrivenham, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Oxfordshire (Mrs. Marjorie Glasgow).

Her Royal Highness this afternoon visited Charlbury Community Centre, Spendlove Centre, Enstone Road, Charlbury.

The Countess of Wessex subsequently visited Cornerstone, Market Street, Charlbury.

Her Royal Highness afterwards visited Blackbird Leys Community Centre, Blackbird Leys.

St James’s Palace

The Princess Royal, Patron, the National Association of Citizens Advice Bureaux, this morning visited Citizens Advice Rural Cambs, Queen Mary Centre, Wisbech, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Cambridgeshire (Mrs Julie Spence).

Her Royal Highness this afternoon visited Read Easy Peterborough at Peterborough Central Library, Broadway, Peterborough, and was received by Mr Benjamyn Damazer (Vice Lord-Lieutenant of Cambridgeshire).

The Princess Royal later unveiled the Fenland Black Oak Project, ‘Table for the Nation’, at Ely Cathedral, Cambridgeshire.

Kensington Palace

The Duke of Gloucester today visited Mountbatten Grange Care Home, Helston Lane, Windsor, and was received by Mr Graham Barker (Vice Lord-Lieutenant of the Royal County of Berkshire).

His Royal Highness afterwards officially opened Heathlands Care Home, Bracknell, and was received by Mr. Sean Taylor (Deputy Lieutenant of the Royal County of Berkshire).

The Duchess of Gloucester, Patron, HMS ARDENT Association, this afternoon received Admiral the Lord West of Spithead (President).
