The Prince of Wales, President, The Prince’s Trust Australia, this morning held a Meeting for the Veterans’ Programmes via video link.

The Earl of Wessex, Vice Patron, Commonwealth Games Federation, today visited Birmingham in advance of the Commonwealth Games and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of West Midlands (Mr John Crabtree).

His Royal Highness this morning visited Toye, Kenning and Spencer Limited, 77 Warstone Lane, Birmingham.

The Earl of Wessex, Trustee, The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, this afternoon visited City Academy, 23 Langley Walk, Ladywood, Birmingham, to meet students taking part in sports projects linked to the Commonwealth Games.

His Royal Highness, Vice Patron, Commonwealth Games Federation, later visited the Birmingham 2022 Uniform and Accreditation Centre at University College Birmingham, Summer Row, Birmingham.

The Earl of Wessex afterwards opened the Platinum Jubilee Walkway and attended a Reception at the Exchange, 3 Centenary Square, Birmingham.

His Royal Highness this evening attended the Halo Wings of Charity Reception given by the Governor-General of Antigua and Barbuda (His Excellency Sir Rodney Williams) at the Royal Lancaster, Lancaster Terrace, London W2.

Kensington Palace

The Duke of Gloucester, Grand Prior, the Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem, this morning attended a Service for the Annual Festival of St John, the Installation of the Prior and Investiture of Postulants in St Giles Cathedral, Edinburgh, followed by a Luncheon at the Balmoral Hotel, Princes Street.

The Duchess of Gloucester, President, this afternoon attended a Musical Theatre Company performance of “the Light in the Piazza” at the Royal Academy of Music, Marylebone Road, London NW1.
