By command of The Queen, Mr Alistair Harrison (Marshal of the Diplomatic Corps) called upon Her Excellency Mrs Winnie Kiap at 14 Waterloo Place, London SW1, this afternoon in order to bid farewell to Her Excellency upon relinquishing her appointment as High Commissioner for Papua New Guinea in London.
By command of Her Majesty, the Marshal of the Diplomatic Corps afterwards called upon His Excellency Mr Bede Corry at 1 Pall Mall East, London SW1, in order to bid farewell to His Excellency upon relinquishing his appointment as High Commissioner for New Zealand in London.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, with Princess Charlotte of Cambridge, today attended the XXII Commonwealth Games in Birmingham.
His Royal Highness and Her Royal Highness, Patron, SportsAid, with Princess Charlotte of Cambridge, this afternoon visited young athletes from the Team England Futures programme at Peter Scott House, University of Birmingham, and were received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of West Midlands (Mr John Crabtree).
