By command of The Queen, Mr Alistair Harrison (Marshal of the Diplomatic Corps) telephoned His Excellency Mr Seth Ramocan this afternoon in order to bid farewell to His Excellency upon relinquishing his appointment as High Commissioner for Jamaica in London.

St James’s Palace

The Princess Royal, Patron, the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo, this morning attended a rehearsal at Redford Barracks, Colinton Road, Edinburgh, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of the City of Edinburgh (Councillor Robert Aldridge, the Rt Hon the Lord Provost).

Her Royal Highness this afternoon visited the Army School of Bagpipe Music and Highland Drumming at Inchdrewer House, Redford Barracks.
