Kensington Palace

The Princess of Wales this morning received Commander Philip Burgess (Senior Officer, HMS GLASGOW) and members of the crew at Windsor Castle.

Her Royal Highness, Joint Patron, the Royal Foundation of The Prince and Princess of Wales, this afternoon held an Early Years Meeting.

St James’s Palace

The Earl of Wessex, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award Foundation, today attended a Meeting.

His Royal Highness, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award Foundation, this evening attended a Reception at the Castle Hotel, 18 High Street, Windsor, Berkshire, for International Golf for Youth, The Duke of Edinburgh’s Cup World Finals.

The Countess of Wessex, Global Ambassador, International Agency for the Prevention of Blindness, this morning held a Meeting at St. James’s Palace with the Royal Commonwealth Society for the Blind and Peek Vision Limited.

Her Royal Highness today attended a Meeting with the Lord Ahmad of Wimbledon (the Prime Minister’s Special Representative on Preventing Sexual Violence in Conflict) at the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office, King Charles Street, London SW1.

St James’s Palace

The Princess Royal, Patron, Northern Lighthouse Board, this morning attended a Governance Board Meeting at 84 George Street, Edinburgh, and was received by His Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of the City of Edinburgh (Councillor Robert Aldridge, the Rt Hon the Lord Provost).

Her Royal Highness this afternoon opened the new shopping centre in the St James Quarter, Multrees Walk, Edinburgh.

The Princess Royal, Patron, the Unicorn Preservation Society, later visited HMS UNICORN, South Victoria Dock Road, Dundee, and was received by His Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of the City of Dundee (Councillor William Campbell, the Lord Provost).

Kensington Palace

The Duke of Gloucester this morning visited the Brickworks Museum, Swanwick Lane, Swanwick, to celebrate their its One Hundred and Twenty Fifth Anniversary and was received by His Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Hampshire (Mr. Nigel Atkinson).

His Royal Highness, Honorary Air Marshal, Royal Air Force, afterwards visited 78 Squadron Swanwick, Sopwith Way, Swanwick.

The Duke of Gloucester this afternoon visited Mountbatten Hampshire, Botley Road, West End, Southampton, to celebrate their Forty Fifth Anniversary.
