The Queen Consort this evening attended Braemar Literary Festival Dinner at the Fife Arms, Mar Road, Braemar, Aberdeenshire.

St James’s Palace

The Countess of Wessex this morning met representatives from United Nations Organisation Stabilisation Mission in the Democratic Republic of the Congo at the Residence of the British High Commissioner in Kinshasa and was received by Ms Sophia Willitts-King (His Majesty’s Acting Ambassador to the Democratic Republic of the Congo).

Her Royal Highness afterwards officially opened Amani House for the British High Commission.

The Countess of Wessex this afternoon departed from Kinshasa N’Djili International Airport for Ethiopia and was received this evening upon arrival at Addis Ababa Bole International Airport by Mr Andrew Ockenden (Deputy Head of Mission, His Majesty’s Embassy in Addis Ababa).

Her Royal Highness later attended a Meeting with representatives from the African Union, at the Residence of His Majesty’s Ambassador to the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia in Addis Ababa.

Mrs Angus Galletley is in attendance.

The Princess Royal, Patron, Minchinhampton Surgery Charitable Trust, this afternoon attended a Reception at Chavenage House, Tetbury, and was received by His Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Gloucestershire (Mr Edward Gillespie).
