His Excellency Mr Robert Ondrejcsak was received in audience by The King today and presented the Letters of Recall of his predecessor and his own Letters of Credence as Ambassador from the Slovak Republic to the Court of St James’s.

Mrs Maryna Vorotnyuk was also received by His Majesty.

His Excellency Mr Jeremiah Nyamane Mamabolo was received in audience by The King and presented the Letters of Recall of his predecessor and his own Letters of Commission as High Commissioner for the Republic of South Africa in London.

Mrs Mamabolo was also received by His Majesty.

Sir Philip Barton (Permanent Under-Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs) was present.

The President of the Republic of Indonesia spoke to The King via telephone this afternoon.

Mr John Neal (Chief Executive Officer, Lloyds of London) was received by His Majesty.

St James’s Palace

The Princess Royal, Patron, Opportunity International UK, accompanied by Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, today carried out the following engagements in the Nakivale Refugee Settlement, Isingiro District, Uganda:

Her Royal Highness this afternoon opened the Opportunity Bank Uganda Nakivale Branch.

The Princess Royal afterwards met members of the Wenzetu Women’s Group at the Sangano Village Community Hall.

Her Royal Highness subsequently visited the Unleashed Youth Empowerment Project, Sangano Village.

The Princess Royal, accompanied by Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, later attended a Reception at the Residence of the British High Commissioner in Kampala.

Her Royal Highness, Patron, Opportunity International UK, accompanied by Vice Admiral Laurence, this evening attended a Reception and Dinner at Kampala Serena Hotel, Kintu Road, Kampala.

The Duke of Gloucester this morning arrived at Heathrow Airport, London, from the United States of America.

Lieutenant Colonel Alastair Todd was in attendance.
