The King held an Investiture at Windsor Castle this morning.
Dame Martina Milburn was received by His Majesty at Buckingham Palace this afternoon upon relinquishing her appointment as Group Chief Executive of The Prince’s Trust.
The Rt Hon Jeremy Hunt MP (Chancellor of the Exchequer) later had an audience of The King.
His Majesty gave a Reception at Buckingham Palace this evening to recognise the contribution of small businesses to the economy of the United Kingdom at which The Earl of Wessex, The Duke of Gloucester and The Duke of Kent were present.
The Queen Consort this afternoon presented the Royal Academy of Dance Queen Elizabeth II Coronation Award to Mr Mikhail Baryshnikov and held a Reception at Buckingham Palace.
Her Majesty this evening attended a Reception and Concert at St James’s Palace to mark the Centenary of the London Chamber Orchestra.
Kensington Palace
The Prince of Wales this morning visited the Senedd Cymru — Welsh Parliament, Pierhead Street, Cardiff, and was received by His Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of South Glamorgan (Mrs Morfudd Meredith).
The Princess of Wales, Joint Patron, the Royal Foundation of The Prince and Princess of Wales, this morning held an Early Years Meeting.
St James’s Palace
The Countess of Wessex this afternoon attended a Meeting at St James’s Palace for Women, Peace and Security.
Her Royal Highness, Patron, National Autistic Society, this evening attended a Dinner at Kensington Palace to mark the Sixtieth Anniversary of the Society.
St James’s Palace
The Princess Royal, Patron, St Margaret’s Chapel Guild, this afternoon attended the Annual Service in the Chapel, Edinburgh Castle, followed by the Annual General Meeting and a Reception in the Castle.
Her Royal Highness later attended a Service to mark the Nine Hundred and Fiftieth Anniversary of the founding of a Priory at Dunfermline Abbey, St Margaret Street, Dunfermline, and was received by His Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Fife (Mr. Robert Balfour).
Kensington Palace
The Duke of Gloucester this morning visited Peterhead Port Authority, West Pier, Peterhead, and was received by His Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Aberdeenshire (Mr Alexander Manson).
His Royal Highness afterwards visited the Royal National Lifeboat Institution, Peterhead Lifeboat Station, West Pier, Peterhead.
The Duke of Gloucester subsequently visited Lunar Fishing Company, East Quay, Peterhead.
St James’s Palace
The Duke of Kent this morning visited the Battle of Britain Memorial, New Dover Road, Capel-le-Ferne, and was received by Air Marshal Christopher Nickols (Deputy Lieutenant of Kent).
His Royal Highness this afternoon visited the Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch Railway Company at New Romney Station and was received by Mr Nicholas Marden (Deputy Lieutenant of Kent).
