The King this afternoon opened the Ukrainian Welcome Centre, the Ukrainian Catholic Cathedral, Duke Street, London W1, and was received by His Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Greater London (Sir Kenneth Olisa), the Ambassador of Ukraine (His Excellency Mr Vadym Prystaiko), Mrs Volodymyr Zelenska (wife of The President of Ukraine) and the Ukrainian Eparchial Bishop of the Holy Family Eparchy in London (Bishop Kenneth Nowakowski).
His Majesty, escorted by the Director of the Ukrainian Welcome Centre (Mr Andriy Marchenko), toured the Centre and met staff, volunteers and displaced Ukrainians.
Later, the Rt Hon Rishi Sunak MP (Prime Minister and First Lord of the Treasury) had an audience of The King.
The Princess Royal, on behalf of The King, held an Investiture at Buckingham Palace this afternoon.
The Prince and Princess of Wales this morning departed from Heathrow Airport, London, for the United States of America and were received upon arrival this afternoon at Boston International Airport by the Governor of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts (Mr Charles Baker) and Mrs Baker.
Their Royal Highnesses this afternoon called upon Ms Michelle Wu (Mayor of Boston) at Boston City Hall, 1 City Hall Square, Boston.
The Prince and Princess of Wales subsequently attended a Welcome to Earthshot event at Boston City Hall.
