His Excellency Mr Inigo Lambertini was received in audience by The King today and presented the Letters of Recall of his predecessor and his own Letters of Credence as Ambassador from the Italian Republic to the Court of St James’s.

Ms Maria Grazia Gragnano was also received by His Majesty.

His Excellency Mr Magzhan Ilyassov was received in audience by The King and presented the Letters of Recall of his predecessor and his own Letters of Credence as Ambassador from the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Court of St James’s.

Mrs Akmaral Aidarbekova was also received by His Majesty.

Sir Philip Barton (Permanent Under-Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs) was present.

Mrs Johanna Churchill MP (Vice-Chamberlain of the Household) was received in audience by The King this afternoon and presented Addresses from the House of Commons to which His Majesty was graciously pleased to make reply.

The King and The Queen Consort this afternoon visited London’s Community Kitchen, Christchurch Avenue, Harrow, and were received by His Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Greater London (Sir Kenneth Olisa), the Chief Executive (Mr Mumtaz Khan), the Mayor of London (the Rt Hon Sadiq Khan) and the Mayor of Harrow (Councillor Janet Mote).

His Majesty, escorted by the Chief Executive, and Her Majesty, escorted by Ms Suzy Jakeman (Head of Projects and Partnerships), toured the facilities, viewing the surplus food market, the Cookery School and the Kind Café and meeting students, members of staff and volunteers, before officially opening Paddington Garden.

The King and The Queen Consort later attended a Christmas Carol Service held by The Princess of Wales in Westminster Abbey, London SW1.

The Princess Royal, on behalf of The King, held an Investiture at Buckingham Palace this afternoon.

The Prince of Wales, Duke of Cornwall this morning chaired a Meeting of The Prince’s Council at 10 Buckingham Gate, London SW1.

The Prince of Wales and The Princess of Wales, as Patron of the Royal Foundation of The Prince and Princess of Wales, this afternoon held a Christmas Carol Service in Westminster Abbey, London SW1.

The Countess of Wessex this morning attended the Lord High Admiral’s Divisions at Britannia Royal Naval College, Dartmouth, and was received by His Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Devon (Mr David Fursdon).

The Princess Royal, Colonel, The Blues and Royals (Royal Horse Guards and 1st Dragoons), this morning received Colonel Crispin Lockhart upon relinquishing his appointment as Lieutenant Colonel Commanding Household Cavalry and Colonel Mark Berry upon assuming the appointment.

Her Royal Highness this afternoon attended a Luncheon at Spencer House, 27 St James’s Place, London SW1.

The Princess Royal this evening attended the London International Horse Show at ExCel London, One Western Gateway, Royal Victoria Dock, London E16, and was received by Mr. Kim Bromley-Derry (Deputy Lieutenant of Greater London).

The Duke of Gloucester, Ranger, Epping Forest Heritage Trust, this morning planted a tree for The Queen’s Green Canopy at Wanstead Flats, Redbridge, and was received by Mr Thomas Chan (Deputy Lieutenant of Greater London).

The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester this afternoon attended a Carol Service held by The Princess of Wales in Westminster Abbey, London SW1.

The Duchess of Gloucester, Honorary President, the Lawn Tennis Association, this afternoon joined a Council Meeting at the National Tennis Centre, Priory Lane, London SW15, and bade farewell to Mr. David Rawlinson upon relinquishing his appointment as President and welcomed Ms. Sandi Procter upon assuming the appointment.
