The Princess Royal, Patron, the Royal College of Midwives, this morning visited Prince Charles Hospital, Gurnos Road, Merthyr Tydfil, and was received by His Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Mid Glamorgan (Professor Peter Vaughan).

Her Royal Highness, President, Carers Trust, this afternoon visited Bridgend Carers Centre, 87 Park Street, Bridgend, and was received by Colonel Philip Hubbard (Vice Lord-Lieutenant of Mid Glamorgan).

The Princess Royal, Royal Patron, National Coastwatch Institution, later opened St Donat’s Bay Station, United World Colleges Atlantic College, St Donat’s, followed by a Reception at St Donat’s Castle, Llantwit Major, and was received by His Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of South Glamorgan (Mrs Morfudd Meredith).
