Ms Anne Jessopp (Chief Executive Officer, the Royal Mint) and Ms Rebecca Morgan (Director) were received by The King at Windsor Castle this afternoon.

The King was presented with coins created in commemoration of His Majesty’s Coronation.

The King was represented by General Sir Mark Carleton-Smith (formerly Chief of the General Staff) at the Funeral Mass for Major General Sir Sebastian Roberts (formerly General Officer Commanding London District and Major General Commanding the Household Division, and 9th Colonel of the Irish Guards) which was held at the Oratory, Brompton Road, London SW7, this morning.

The Duke of Edinburgh, President, Creative Youth, this evening attended a Dinner at Glenmore House, 6 the Crescent, Surbiton, Surrey, and was received by Mr Andrew Ranson (Deputy Lieutenant of Greater London).

The Duchess of Edinburgh, Patron, Halle Concerts Society, this morning opened the Oglesby Centre at Halle St Peter’s, 40 Blossom Street, Manchester, and was received by His Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Greater Manchester (Mrs Diane Hawkins).

Her Royal Highness, Patron, Caring for Life, this afternoon visited Caring for Life, Crag House Farm, Otley Old Road, Cookridge, Leeds, and was received by His Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of West Yorkshire (Mr Edmund Anderson).
