The King spoke to The King of Malaysia via telephone this morning.
His Majesty this evening visited the Royal Guard comprising Serving Personnel from Balaklava Company, 5th Battalion The Royal Regiment of Scotland at Victoria Barracks, Ballater, Aberdeenshire.
Major Neil Cargill was later received by The King when His Majesty conferred upon him the Insignia of a Member of the Royal Victorian Order.
Kensington Palace
The Prince and Princess of Wales today met the families of Miss Bebe King, Miss Alice da Silva Aguiar and Miss Elsie Dot Stancombe at the Marian Centre, Bath Street North, Southport, Lancashire.
Their Royal Highnesses afterwards met Ms Leanne Lucas at Compassion Acts, 197A Sussex Road, Southport.
The Prince and Princess of Wales, Joint Patrons, the Royal Foundation of The Prince and Princess of Wales, having been received by Mr Peter Oliver (Deputy Lieutenant of Merseyside), this afternoon met Emergency Responders from North West England, Southport Community Centre, 126 Norwood Road, Southport.
St James’s Palace
The Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh, accompanied by the British High Commissioner to the Republic of Malta (Her Excellency Ms Katherine Ward), this morning visited the easyJet Maintenance Facility at Malta International Airport, Luqa.
Their Royal Highnesses this afternoon arrived at Gatwick Airport, London, from Malta.
Brigadier Alexander Potts and Mrs Angus Galletley were in attendance.
St James’s Palace
The Princess Royal, Patron, the Royal College of Emergency Medicine, this morning attended the Annual Scientific Conference at the Glasshouse International Centre for Music, St Mary’s Square, Gateshead Quays, Gateshead, and was received by His Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Tyne and Wear (Mrs Lucy Winskell).
Her Royal Highness, Patron, the Butler Trust, this afternoon visited North Tyneside Youth Justice System, Riverside Centre, Minton Lane, North Shields, Tyne and Wear.
The Princess Royal later opened a renovated manufacturing facility at 31 Tanners Bank, North Shields, Tyne and Wear.
