The Duke of Edinburgh this morning arrived at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport, Mumbai, and was received by Mr Harjinder Kang (British Deputy High Commissioner for Western India).

His Royal Highness later called upon the Governor of Maharashtra (Mr C P Radhakrishnan) at Raj Bhavan Mumbai.

The Duke of Edinburgh, Chairman, The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award Foundation, this afternoon held a Luncheon for representatives of the Education Sector in Mumbai, at the Residence of the British Deputy High Commissioner.

His Royal Highness afterwards visited Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Vastu Sangrahalaya Museum, Mahatma Ghandi Road, Mumbai.

The Duke of Edinburgh, Chairman, The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award Foundation, subsequently visited Wankhede Stadium, Churchgate, Mumbai.

His Royal Highness, Chairman, The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award Foundation, this evening attended a Dinner at the Taj Palace Hotel, Apollo Bandar, Mumbai.
