Balmoral Castle

By command of The Queen, Mr Alistair Harrison (Marshal of the Diplomatic Corps) called upon His Excellency Mr Alisher Shaykhov at 41 Holland Park, London W11, this afternoon in order to bid farewell to His Excellency upon relinquishing his appointment as Ambassador from the Republic of Uzbekistan to the Court of St James’s.

Kensington Palace 

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge today held, and competed in the inaugural King’s Cup Regatta, Cowes, and were received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Isle of Wight (Mrs Susan Sheldon).

Their Royal Highnesses afterwards attended the King’s Cup Regatta prize-giving ceremony, Cowes.

The Queen arrived at Balmoral Castle today, was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Aberdeenshire (Mr James Ingleby) and then inspected the Royal Guard found by Balaklava Company, The Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders, 5th Battalion The Royal Regiment of Scotland.

By command of The Queen, Mr Alistair Harrison (Marshal of the Diplomatic Corps) called upon His Excellency Mr Euripides Evriviades at 13 St James’s Street, London SW1, this morning in order to bid farewell to His Excellency upon relinquishing his appointment as High Commissioner for the Republic of Cyprus in London.

By command of Her Majesty, the Marshal of the Diplomatic Corps called upon His Excellency Dr Alexander Yakovenko at 13 Kensington Palace Gardens, London W8, this afternoon in order to bid farewell to His Excellency upon relinquishing his appointment as Ambassador from the Russian Federation to the Court of St James’s.

Clarence House

The Prince Charles, Duke of Rothesay, Patron, Scottish Tartans Authority, this afternoon visited Campbell’s of Beauly, Highland Tweed House, High Street, Beauly, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Inverness (Donald Cameron of Lochiel).

His Royal Highness afterwards visited Beauly.

The Princess Royal this morning attended the opening of the terminal extension at London Luton Airport, Luton, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Bedfordshire (Mrs Helen Nellis).

Her Royal Highness later dedicated the Forest of Marston Vale to The Queen’s Commonwealth Canopy, Marston Moretaine, and was received by Colonel Christopher Sharwood-Smith (Vice Lord-Lieutenant of Bedfordshire).

The Princess Royal, President, Royal Yachting Association, this afternoon visited Draycote Water Sailing Club, Draycote Water, Kites Hardwick, near Rugby, to mark the Fiftieth Anniversary of the Club and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Warwickshire (Mr Timothy Cox).

Her Royal Highness, Royal Fellow, this evening held a Reception at St James’s Palace to mark the Fiftieth Anniversary of the Royal Academy of Engineering MacRobert Award.

Kensington Palace

The Duke of Gloucester this morning presented The Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service to The Matthew of Bristol Trust, The Matthew, Princes Wharf, Wapping Road, Bristol, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of the County and City of Bristol (Mrs Peaches Golding).

His Royal Highness this afternoon visited the Being Brunel Museum, SS Great Britain, Great Western Dockyard, Gas Ferry Road, Bristol.

The Duke of Gloucester afterwards presented The Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service to Move Makers of Southmead Hospital, Brunel Building, Southmead Road, Westbury-on-Trym, Bristol.
