General the Hon Sir Peter Cosgrove was received by The Queen this morning upon relinquishing his appointment as Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia when Her Majesty invested him with the Insignia of a Commander of the Royal Victorian Order.

Lady Cosgrove was also received by Her Majesty.

The Prince Charles, Duke of Rothesay and The Duchess of Rothesay this morning received General the Hon Sir Peter Cosgrove (formerly Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia) and Lady Cosgrove.
