The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall this morning visited the Athletes Village, Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia.

His Royal Highness this afternoon received the Hon Malcolm Turnbull MP (Prime Minister of the Commonwealth of Australia) at the Athletes Village.

The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall afterwards visited Commonwealth House, Broadbeach.

His Royal Highness later received the Hon William Shorten MP (Leader of the Opposition) at the Sheraton Grand Mirage, Gold Coast.

The Prince of Wales subsequently received Her Excellency the Rt Hon Dame Patricia Reddy (Governor-General of New Zealand).

His Royal Highness afterwards attended the XXI Commonwealth Games on the Gold Coast.

The Duchess of Cornwall this afternoon held a Meeting with MasterChef Australia at Government House, Brisbane.

Her Royal Highness later attended the XXI Commonwealth Games on the Gold Coast.

His Royal Highness, Founder, Pitch@Palace, this morning received entrepreneurs taking part in Pitch@Palace Bahrain, at the Ritz Carlton Hotel, King Mohammed VI Avenue, Al Seef District.

The Duke of York, Vice Admiral, this morning opened the United Kingdom Naval Support Facility at Mina Salman, Juffair, and was received by The Crown Prince of Bahrain.

His Royal Highness, Patron, Services Sound and Vision Corporation, afterwards toured the welfare facility at the United Kingdom Naval Support Facility and attended a Reception for British and Bahraini businesses.

The Duke of York this afternoon called upon Lieutenant General Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa (Minister of Interior of the Kingdom of Bahrain) at the Diwan Fort.

His Royal Highness, Chancellor, subsequently visited the University of Huddersfield at the Diwan Fort.

The Duke of York, Founder, Pitch@Palace, later visited Fintech Bay, Arcapita Bahrain Bay Building 551.

His Royal Highness, Founder, Inspiring Digital Enterprise Award, afterwards opened the British University of Bahrain at the Atrium, Saar.

The Duke of York, Founder, Pitch@Palace, this evening held Pitch@Palace Bahrain for supporters and entrepreneurs, at Sheikh Salman in Ahmed Fort, Riffa.

His Royal Highness later attended a Dinner given by The King of Bahrain.

Her Royal Highness, Honorary President, Spinal Injuries Scotland, this evening attended a Dinner at Mercure Aberdeen Ardoe House Hotel, South Deeside Road, Blairs, Aberdeen, and was received by Dr Andrew Orr (Vice Lord-Lieutenant of Kincardineshire).

Their Royal Highnesses afterwards visited Lady Cilento Children’s Hospital, Stanley Street, Brisbane.

The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall this afternoon received the Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia and Lady Cosgrove at the Sheraton Grand Mirage, Gold Coast, Queensland.

Their Royal Highnesses this evening attended a Reception to mark the opening of the Commonwealth Games given by the Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia at the Sheraton Grand Mirage.

The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall later visited Carrara Stadium and subsequently attended a Gold Coast Commonwealth Games Welcome Reception at Carrara Stadium.

The Prince of Wales, on behalf of The Queen, and The Duchess of Cornwall viewed the Opening Ceremony and afterwards His Royal Highness opened the XXI Commonwealth Games.

Mr Scott Furssedonn-Wood, Mr Julian Payne, Miss Laura Sullivan, Wing Commander Brett Williams and Mrs Amanda MacManus are in attendance.

The Duke of York this evening arrived at Bahrain International Airport, Manama, and was received by Her Majesty’s Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain (His Excellency Mr Simon Martin).

The Queen this morning attended the Maundy Service in St George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle, at which Her Majesty distributed the Royal Maundy.

The Queen was received at the North Door of the Chapel by the Dean of Windsor (the Right Reverend David Conner).

The Right Reverend Dr John Inge (Lord High Almoner) and the Reverend Canon Paul Wright (Sub-Almoner) were present.

The Queen’s Body Guard of the Yeomen of the Guard and the Military Knights of Windsor were on duty.

Her Majesty this afternoon joined representatives of the Chapel and the Royal Almonry at a Reception in the Deanery.

COURT CIRCULAR

Buckingham Palace

The Queen, Sponsor, this morning arrived in Devon to attend the Decommissioning Ceremony of HMS Ocean and was received at Plymouth Railway Station by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant (Mr David Fursdon) and the Lord Mayor of Plymouth (Councillor Wendy Foster).

Her Majesty drove to HM Naval Base Devonport, Plymouth, and was received with a gun salute.

The Queen was received at HMS Ocean by the First Sea Lord (Admiral Sir Philip Jones), the Naval Base Commander Devonport (Commodore Ian Shipperly) and Captain Robert Pedre (Commanding Officer HMS Ocean).

Her Majesty inspected the Guard of Honour, having been received with a Royal Salute.

The Queen attended the Decommissioning Service and afterwards addressed those present.

Her Majesty was entertained to Luncheon by the Commanding Officer in the Senior Rates Dining Room on board the Ship.

The Prince Charles, Duke of Rothesay, Founder, The Prince of Wales’s Foundation Romania, this afternoon held a Meeting at Dumfries House, Cumnock, Ayrshire.

The Princess Royal, Royal Patron, this morning visited the National Coastwatch Institution Skegness Station, Winthorpe Avenue, Skegness, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Lincolnshire (Mr Toby Dennis).
