Her Royal Highness, Patron, Citizens Advice Scotland, afterwards visited Cumbernauld and Kilsyth Bureau to mark its Fiftieth Anniversary and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Dunbartonshire (Rear-Admiral Michael Gregory).

The Princess Royal later opened the Muirfield Centre, 1a South Muirhead Road, Cumbernauld, Dunbartonshire.

Her Royal Highness, Chancellor, the University of Edinburgh, this evening held the Chancellor’s Awards Dinner at the Palace of Holyroodhouse and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of the City of Edinburgh (Councillor Francis Ross, the
Rt Hon the Lord Provost).

The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester this afternoon visited the National Piping Centre, 30-34 McPhater Street, Glasgow, and were received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of the City of Glasgow (Councillor Eva Bolander, the Rt Hon the Lord Provost).

His Royal Highness and Her Royal Highness, Patron, Scottish Opera, this evening attended a Reception to celebrate the One Hundred and Fiftieth Anniversary of the Theatre Royal, 282 Hope Street, Glasgow, followed by a performance of La Traviata.
