The Queen, Captain General, Royal Regiment of Artillery, today reviewed the Regiment at Knighton Down, Larkhill, on the occasion of their Tercentenary and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Wiltshire (Mrs. Peter Troughton), the Master Gunner St James’s Park (General Sir Timothy Granville-Chapman) and the Regimental Colonel (Colonel Richard Collinge).

Her Majesty was received with a Royal Salute before inspecting an Armoured Parade from the State Review Range Rover.

Afterwards The Queen viewed the Captain General’s Baton and addressed the Parade before viewing a Ride and Drive Past, led by The King’s Troop Royal Horse Artillery.

Her Majesty subsequently witnessed a Feu de Joie.

The Queen this afternoon viewed the working of a Divisional Headquarters Command Post and stands exhibiting the heritage of the Royal Regiment of Artillery, including the Royal Artillery Museum.
