Buckingham Palace

The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh this morning met experts from the television programme, “the Antiques Roadshow”, at Hillsborough Castle, County Down, and viewed artefacts displayed.

Her Majesty, Patron, and His Royal Highness, Life Member, later attended a Reception for the Royal British Legion at the Town Hall, the Diamond, Coleraine, given by Coleraine Borough Council to acknowledge the Legion’s contribution to the wellbeing of veterans and their families and to launch the Council’s programme of activities to commemorate the centenary of the start of Britain’s involvement in the First World War, and were received by the Mayor of Coleraine (Mr. Kieran Doherty).

Afterwards The Queen laid a wreath at the War Memorial.

Her Majesty and His Royal Highness subsequently undertook a short walkabout in Coleraine.

The Rt. Hon. David Cameron MP (Prime Minister and First Lord of the Treasury) had an audience of The Queen at Buckingham Palace this evening.

The Duke of Edinburgh, Visitor, this evening attended a Dinner to mark the Fiftieth Anniversary of Churchill College, Cambridge, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Cambridgeshire (Mr. Hugh Duberly).

Clarence House

The Prince of Wales this morning attended the United Nations Summit on Disaster Resilience in the Private Sector at the Park Plaza Hotel, 200 Westminster Bridge Road, London SE1.

His Royal Highness this afternoon attended a Capital Markets Resilience Meeting at the British Academy 10-11 Carlton House Terrace, London SW1.

The Prince of Wales later received Miss Wanjira Mathai (Director International Affairs, Green Belt Movement International).

The Duchess of Cornwall today attended the Lawn Tennis Championships at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club, Church Road, Wimbledon, London SW19.

Kensington Palace

Prince Henry of Wales this morning visited the SOS Mata Atlântica Project, Sao Paulo, Brazil.

His Royal Highness this afternoon visited Associação de Apoio à Criança em Risco (Children at Risk Foundation), Rua João Antonio de Araújo, Diadema, Sao Paulo.

Prince Henry of Wales this evening attended The Queen’s Birthday Party at the British Consulate-General, Rua Ferreira de Araújo, Sao Paulo, and was received by Mr. John Doddrell (Her Majesty’s Consul-General for Sao Paulo).

Buckingham Palace

The Duke of York, Patron, this morning attended the TeenTech National Final at the Royal Society, 6-9 Carlton Gardens, London SW1.

His Royal Highness, Chairman, Inspiring Digital Enterprise Awards (iDEA), this afternoon visited the programme at Hackney Community College Shoreditch Campus, Falkirk Street, London N1.

The Duke of York this evening held a Reception at St. James’s Palace for the Wikimedia Foundation.

The Earl of Wessex, President, Royal Norfolk Agricultural Association, today attended the Royal Norfolk Show at the Norfolk Showground, Dereham Road, Costessey, Norwich, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Norfolk (Mr. Richard Jewson).

The Countess of Wessex this morning opened the restored Royal Kitchen Garden at Hampton Court Palace, East Molesey, Surrey, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Greater London (Sir David Brewer).

Her Royal Highness, President, Girlguiding, this afternoon held a Big Brownie Tea Party at Buckingham Palace in celebration of the One Hundredth Birthday of Brownies.

The Princess Royal, Master, the Corporation of Trinity House, this morning attended the Quincentenary Church Service at St. Nicholas’s Church, Harwich, and subsequently opened the Operational and Planning Centre at Trinity House, the Quay, Harwich, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Essex (the Lord Petre).

Her Royal Highness, President, Royal Yachting Association, this afternoon chaired a Council Meeting at the Royal Thames Yacht Club, 60 Knightsbridge, London SW1.

The Princess Royal, Past Master and Honorary Member, the Honourable Company of Master Mariners, this evening presented the Supplemental Royal Charter onboard HQS WELLINGTON, Victoria Embankment, London WC2.

Kensington Palace

The Duke of Gloucester, Patron, the Church Monuments Society, this afternoon received Dr. Jean Wilson (President) and Ms. Sally Badham (former President).

The Duchess of Gloucester, Honorary President, the Lawn Tennis Association, today attended the Association President’s Lunch before attending the Championships at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club, Wimbledon, London SW1.

St James’s Palace

The Duke of Kent, President, All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club, today attended the Wimbledon Lawn Tennis Championships at Church Road, London SW19.

His Royal Highness this afternoon met volunteers from the Renaissance Foundation youth charity at the Wimbledon Lawn Tennis Championships.

Appendix to Court Circular

The Queen has been pleased to appoint the Reverend Canon Martin Poll to be Domestic Chaplain to Her Majesty at the Royal Chapel, Windsor Great Park.
