COURT CIRCULAR

Buckingham Palace

The following were received in audience by The Queen today and kissed hands upon their appointment as Her Majesty’s Ambassadors: Mr Damion Potter (the Republic of Panama) and Mr Daniel Pruce (the Republic of the Philippines).

Mrs Potter and Ms Rachael Morgan were also received by Her Majesty.

The following were received in audience by The Queen upon their appointment as British High Commissioners: Mrs Susan le Jeune d’Allegeershecque (Canada) and Mr Guy Warrington (the Republic of Sierra Leone).

Mr Stephane Herve Marie le Jeune d’Allegeershecque and Mrs Karen Malia were also received by Her Majesty.

Captain Nicholas Wright RN was received by The Queen upon relinquishing his appointment as Private Secretary to The Princess Royal when Her Majesty conferred upon him the honour of Knighthood and invested him with the Insignia of a Knight Commander of the Royal Victorian Order.

Lieutenant Colonel Sir Andrew Ford was received by The Queen upon relinquishing his appointment as Comptroller, Lord Chamberlain’s Office, when Her Majesty invested him with the Insignia of a Knight Grand Cross of the Royal Victorian Order.

Clarence House

The Prince of Wales, Patron, Ashden, this afternoon held a Reception at Clarence House.

His Royal Highness, Honorary Air Commodore, Royal Air Force Valley, later received Group Captain Nicholas Tucker-Lowe upon relinquishing his appointment as Officer Commanding Royal Air Force Valley and Group Captain Christopher Moon upon assuming the appointment.

The Prince of Wales, President, the King’s Fund, received Mr Richard Murray upon assuming his appointment as Chief Executive.

His Royal Highness, Royal Founding Patron, the Turquoise Mountain Foundation, this evening held a Dinner at Clarence House.

Kensington Palace

The Duke of Cambridge and The Duchess of Cambridge, Patron, this morning visited Evelina London Childen’s Hospital, Westminster Bridge Road, Lambeth, London SE1, and were received by Mrs Colleen Harris (Deputy Lieutenant of Greater London).

Their Royal Highnesses afterwards visited the Passage, St Vincent’s Centre, Carlisle Place, London SW1, and were received by Dr Paul Knapman (Deputy Lieutenant of Greater London).

Kensington Palace

The Duke of Sussex, President, The Queen’s Commonwealth Trust, and The Duchess of Sussex this afternoon attended a Board Meeting at Thomas House, 84 Eccleston Square, London SW1.

Buckingham Palace

The Duke of York, Past Captain, the Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St Andrews, today held a Meeting and Luncheon at Buckingham Palace for Past Captains.

His Royal Highness, Patron, The Duke of York’s Community Initiative, this afternoon received Mr Simon Blagden, Mr Graham Nunnes and Mr Martin Davies (Trustees).

The Duke of York, Founder, Pitch@Palace, this evening held a Reception for Alumni at the Royal Academy of Engineering, 3 Carlton House Terrace, London SW1.

Buckingham Palace

The Earl of Wessex, Chancellor, University of Bath, today presided at Degree Congregations at the Assembly Rooms, Bennett Street, Bath, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Somerset (Mrs Richard Maw).

The Princess Royal this morning opened Vale Academy’s new premises in Atherton Way, Brigg, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Lincolnshire (Mr Toby Dennis).

Her Royal Highness this afternoon opened the renovated Railway Station, Linwood Road, Market Rasen, and was received by Mr David Chambers (Vice Lord-Lieutenant of Lincolnshire).

The Princess Royal later opened Linkage Community Trust’s Boultham Park Education Centre, Boultham Park Road, Lincoln.

Her Royal Highness, Visitor, Dorothy House Hospice Care, this evening attended a Reception at Cambridge Cottage, Kew Gardens, Richmond, Surrey, and was received by Mrs Gillian Norton (Deputy Lieutenant of Greater London).

Kensington Palace

The Duke of Gloucester, Patron, Nuffield Farming Scholarships Trust, this morning received the Lord Darling upon relinquishing his appointment as Chairman and Ms Helen Woolley upon assuming the appointment.

Buckingham Palace

Princess Alexandra, Patron, Queen Victoria’s Seamen’s Rest, this evening opened the final phase of the Queen Victoria refit programme and attended a Carol Service at 121-131 East India Dock Road, London E14.
