The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall this morning attended the Normandy D-Day Seventy-Fifth Anniversary Service in Bayeux Cathedral, France.
Their Royal Highnesses this afternoon attended a Commemorative Service at the Commonwealth War Graves Commission Cemetery in Bayeux, where The Prince of Wales laid a wreath at the Cross of Sacrifice, and afterwards attended a Reception for veterans and their families.

The Duke of Cambridge this morning attended a Commemorative Service at the National Memorial Arboretum, Croxall Road, Alrewas, to mark the Seventy-Fifth Anniversary of D-Day and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Staffordshire (Mr Ian Dudson).
The Duchess of Cambridge this evening took the salute at Beating Retreat by the Massed Bands of the Household Division on Horse Guards Parade, London SW1.

The Princess Royal, Patron, Royal Caledonian Horticultural Society, this afternoon opened the renovated Saughton Park and Gardens, Balgreen Road, Edinburgh, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of the City of Edinburgh (Councillor Francis Ross, the Rt Hon the Lord Provost).
Her Royal Highness, Patron, Scotland’s Churches Trust, later received Mr Andrew Calder at the Palace of Holyroodhouse upon relinquishing his appointment as Chairman and Colonel James Erskine upon assuming the appointment.
