Today is the Ninety-Eighth Anniversary of the Birthday of The Duke of Edinburgh.

Kensington Palace

The Duke of Cambridge, Patron, Child Bereavement UK, this evening attended a Gala Dinner at the Kensington Palace Pavilion, Kensington Gardens, London W8.

Buckingham Palace

The Duke of York this morning received Dr Bandar Hajjar (President, Islamic Development Bank).

His Royal Highness, Fellow, the Royal Society, this afternoon received Sir Richard Sykes (Chairman, the Royal Institution of Great Britain) and Dr Shaun Fitzgerald (Director).

The Duke of York, Fellow, the Royal Society, afterwards held a Reception at St James’s Palace for University Research, Dorothy Hodgkin and Sir Henry Dale Fellows.

His Royal Highness, Patron, subsequently held a Meeting on the World China Entrepreneurs Convention.

St James’s Palace

The Earl of Wessex, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award Foundation, this morning attended a Meeting at Award House, 7-11 St Matthew Street, London, SW1.

His Royal Highness, Royal Honorary Colonel, Royal Wessex Yeomanry, this afternoon received Captain Ryan Morgan upon relinquishing his appointment as Regimental Adjutant and Captain George Lynch-Staunton upon assuming the appointment.

The Countess of Wessex this morning held a Meeting at Buckingham Palace with survivors of sexual violence.

Her Royal Highness this afternoon received a delegation involved with the Women, Peace and Security Agenda.

St James’s Palace

The Princess Royal, President, Royal Agricultural Society of the Commonwealth, this morning attended the Annual General Meeting at the Royal Jersey Agricultural and Horticultural Society, Royal Jersey Showground, Trinity, and was received by the Lieutenant-Governor and Commander-in-Chief of the Bailiwick of Jersey (Air Chief Marshal Sir Stephen Dalton).

Her Royal Highness, Patron, the British Nutrition Foundation, this afternoon launched Healthy Eating Week for Schools at Jersey College for Girls, le Mont Millais, St Saviour.

Princess Alexandra, President, British School at Rome, this evening attended a Lecture at the British Academy, 10 Carlton House Terrace, London SW1.
