COURT CIRCULAR

Buckingham Palace

The following were received in audience by The Queen today and kissed hands upon their appointment as Her Majesty’s Ambassadors: Mr Matthew Field (Bosnia and Herzegovina), Ms Nicola Pollitt (the Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal) and Mr Christopher Trott (the Republic of South Sudan).

Ms Field-Klisovi, Mr Mark Perrin and Mrs Trott were also received by Her Majesty.

Miss Angela Macro was received in audience by The Queen upon her appointment as British High Commissioner to the Kingdom of Lesotho.

Mr Peter Ashby was received by The Queen when Her Majesty invested him with the Insignia of a Commander of the Royal Victorian Order.

The Princess Royal, on behalf of The Queen, held an Investiture at Buckingham Palace this morning.

Clarence House

The Prince Charles, Duke of Rothesay, Patron, this afternoon attended a performance by the Scottish Ballet at Dumfries House, Cumnock, Ayrshire.

His Royal Highness later received representatives of Aid to the Church in Need.

The Prince Charles, Duke of Rothesay, President, The Prince’s Foundation, this evening held a Dinner at Dumfries House for supporters.

The Duchess of Cornwall, President, Royal Voluntary Service, this afternoon received Mr Richard Greenhalgh upon relinquishing his appointment as Chairman of Trustees and Mr Stephen Dunmore upon assuming the appointment.

Her Royal Highness, Vice Patron, the Royal Commonwealth Society, afterwards held a Reception at Buckingham Palace for The Queen’s Commonwealth Essay Competition.

St James’s Palace

The Earl of Wessex, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award Foundation, this evening held a Dinner at Windsor Castle.

The Princess Royal, President, National Equine Forum, this afternoon attended the Organising Committee Meeting at the Kennel Club, 10 Clarges Street, London W1.

Her Royal Highness, President, the Royal Society for the Encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce, this evening attended the President’s Lecture and Dinner at 8 John Adam Street, London WC2, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Greater London (Sir Kenneth Olisa).

Kensington Palace

The Duke of Gloucester, Vice Patron, National Churches Trust, this afternoon presented the President’s Award at the Church Architecture Awards, St Mary Magdalene’s Church, Rowington Close, London W2.
