Buckingham Palace

His Excellency Mr Marrku Keinänen was received in audience by The Queen today and presented the Letters of Recall of his predecessor and his own Letters of Credence as Ambassador from the Republic of Finland to the Court of St James’s.

Mrs Keinänen was also received by Her Majesty.

His Excellency Mr Antonio José Ardila was received in audience by The Queen and presented the Letters of Recall of his predecessor and his own Letters of Credence as Ambassador from the Republic of Colombia to the Court of St James’s.

Mrs Luz Angela Sarmiento was also received by Her Majesty.

Sir Simon McDonald (Permanent Under-Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs) was present.

His Royal Highness, Honorary Member, Game and Wildlife Conservation Trust, this afternoon received Ms Teresa Dent (Chief Executive Officer).

The Earl of Wessex, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award Foundation, this morning attended the International Council Meeting at Missenden Abbey, London Road, Great Missenden, Buckinghamshire.

His Royal Highness, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award Foundation, this afternoon held a Trustees Meeting at Missenden Abbey.

The Countess of Wessex, Patron, Awareness Foundation, this morning attended a Meeting at JW Marriott Essex House Hotel, 160 Central Park South, New York, United States of America.

Her Royal Highness, Global Ambassador, 100 Women in Finance, this afternoon attended a Luncheon at 351 East 51st Street, New York, and was received by Her Majesty’s Consul-General for New York (Mr Antony Phillipson).

The Countess of Wessex, Global Ambassador, 100 Women in Finance, later attended a Reception followed by a Panel Discussion at UBS Financial Services, 1285 6th Avenue, New York.

St James’s Palace

The Princess Royal, President, Racing Welfare, this morning opened Summerhill House, Howard de Walden Way, Newmarket, and was received by Mr Nicholas Wingfield Digby (Deputy Lieutenant of Suffolk).

Her Royal Highness, Patron, Livability, this afternoon visited Livability Icanho, Chilton Way, Stowmarket, and was received by Mr Robert Rous (Vice Lord-Lieutenant of Suffolk).

The Princess Royal later visited British Telecommunication’s Global Research Headquarters, Adastral Park, Martlesham Heath, Ipswich, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Suffolk (Clare, Countess of Euston).

Kensington Palace

The Duke of Gloucester this morning presented The Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service to Dyscover Limited, Leatherhead Court, Woodlands Road, Leatherhead, and was received by Mr Richard Whittington (Deputy Lieutenant of Surrey).

His Royal Highness afterwards presented The Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service to the Patchworking Garden Project, Aviva Plc (formerly Friends Life), Sports Ground, Pixham Lane, Dorking, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Surrey (Mr Michael More-Molyneux).

The Duke of Gloucester this afternoon presented The Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service to Stripey Stork, 51a Albert Road North, Reigate, Surrey.

His Royal Highness subsequently visited the Young Men’s Christian Association East Surrey, Sports and Community Centre, Princes Road, Redhill.
