The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall this morning attended the Commissioning Ceremony of HMS Prince of Wales, HM Naval Base, Portsmouth, and were received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Hampshire (Mr Nigel Atkinson).

The Prince of Wales, President, The Prince’s Foundation, this afternoon received Mr Shajjad Rizvi (Chief Executive, Little People).

Kensington Palace

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Joint Patrons, the Royal Foundation of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, this morning attended a Trustees’ Meeting.

St James’s Palace

The Earl of Wessex, Chancellor, University of Bath, today presided at Degree Congregations at the Assembly Rooms, Bennett Street, Bath, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Somerset (Mrs Richard Maw).

His Royal Highness, Chancellor, University of Bath, this afternoon attended a Lunch at the Assembly Rooms.

The Earl of Wessex, Chancellor, University of Bath, this evening attended a Dinner at the Woodlands, North Road, Bathwick, Bath.

The Countess of Wessex this evening attended the ABF the Soldiers’ Charity Army Carol Service in the Chapel of Royal Hospital Chelsea, London SW3, and was received by General Sir Adrian Bradshaw (Deputy Lieutenant of Greater London).

The Princess Royal, Honorary Member, the Society of Merchant Venturers, this afternoon opened the Kingfisher School, Lichfield Road, Bristol, and was received by Dr Timothy Chambers (Vice Lord-Lieutenant of the County and City of Bristol).

Her Royal Highness later received Her Excellency Mrs Janice Charette (High Commissioner for Canada in London).

The Princess Royal, Patron, UK Youth, this evening attended an Art for Youth London Reception at the Mall Galleries, the Mall, London SW1, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Greater London (Sir Kenneth Olisa).

The Duke of Gloucester, Joint President, Cancer Research UK, this evening attended a Concert of Christmas Carols and Readings in St Paul’s Cathedral, London EC4.

St James’s Palace

The Duke of Kent, President, Royal National Lifeboat Institution, this morning received Mr Stuart Popham (Chairman) and Mr Mark Dowie (Chief Executive Officer) on the Fiftieth Anniversary of His Royal Highness’s patronage.
