COURT CIRCULAR

Buckingham Palace

Her Excellency Mrs Natalia Royo Ruiz de Hagerman was received in audience by The Queen today and presented the Letters of Recall of her predecessor and her own Letters of Credence as Ambassador from the Republic of Panama to the Court of St James’s.

Mr Santiago Hagerman Arnus was also received by Her Majesty.

His Excellency Mr Yasumasa Nagamine was received in audience by The Queen and presented the Letters of Recall of his predecessor and his own Letters of Credence as Ambassador from Japan to the Court of St James’s.

Mrs Nagamine was also received by Her Majesty.

Sir Simon McDonald (Permanent Under-Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs) was present.

The Yang di-Pertuan Agong of Malaysia and The Raja Permaisuri Agong of Malaysia visited The Queen and remained to Luncheon.

The Earl of Wessex was present.

Clarence House

The Prince of Wales this morning received the Right Reverend and Rt Hon Dame Sarah Mullally (Dean of Her Majesty’s Chapels Royal and Bishop of London).

His Royal Highness, President, the Royal Ballet, received Mr Christopher Rodrigues (Chairman, Royal Ballet School).

The Prince of Wales, Colonel-in-Chief, 1st The Queen’s Dragoon Guards, this afternoon received Lieutenant General Sir Simon Mayall upon relinquishing his appointment as Colonel and Brigadier Alan Richmond upon assuming the appointment.

His Royal Highness later attended an Accounting for Sustainability Summit at St James’s Palace.

The Prince of Wales afterwards opened the “Apertures of a Revolution. Photographs from December 1989” exhibition at the Romanian Cultural Institute, Belgrave Square, London SW1.

The Duchess of Cornwall, Patron, Helen and Douglas House, and Royal Patron, Roald Dahl’s Marvellous Children’s Charity, this afternoon received children and young people from the charities and helped them to decorate the Christmas Tree at Clarence House.

St James’s Palace

The Earl of Wessex, Trustee, The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, this morning held a Meeting at St James’s Palace.

His Royal Highness, Vice Patron, afterwards held a Meeting at St James’s Palace for the Commonwealth Games Federation.

Kensington Palace

The Duke of Gloucester, Colonel-in-Chief, The Royal Anglian Regiment, this morning received Lieutenant Colonel Bruce Weston upon relinquishing his appointment as Commanding Officer 2nd Battalion and Lieutenant Colonel William Meddings upon assuming the appointment.

His Royal Highness this evening attended the Royal British Legion’s Christmas Reception and Concert at Guildhall, London EC2.
