Buckingham Palace

The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh were represented by The Duke of Gloucester at the Memorial Service for President Daniel arap Moi (former President of the Republic of Kenya) which was held at Nyayo National Stadium, Aerodrome Road, Nairobi, Kenya, today.

Clarence House

The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall, accompanied by The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, this morning visited the Defence Medical Rehabilitation Centre Stanford Hall, Stanford on Soar, Loughborough, and were received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Nottinghamshire (Sir John Peace).

Their Royal Highnesses this afternoon visited Leicester Market, Leicester, and were received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Leicestershire (Mr Michael Kapur).

The Prince of Wales, Royal Founding Patron, British Asian Trust, subsequently launched the Trust’s Midlands Chapter, City Rooms, 10 Hotel Street, Leicester.

His Royal Highness afterwards visited the Soane Britain Workshop, Thurmaston, Leicester.

The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall later visited the Cambridge Satchel Company Factory, Fosse Way, Syston, Leicester.

The Duchess of Cornwall, President, Royal Voluntary Service, this afternoon visited Leicester General Hospital, Gwendolen Road, Leicester, and was received by Colonel Murray Colville (Vice Lord-Lieutenant of Leicestershire).

St James’s Palace

The Earl of Wessex, Trustee, The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, today held Receptions at St James’s Palace for young people who have achieved the Gold Standard in the Award.

His Royal Highness, Patron, the National Youth Theatre of Great Britain, this evening attended a Dinner at Spencer House, 27 St James’s Place, London SW1.

The Countess of Wessex this morning attended a Reception and Luncheon at the Embassy of the Kingdom of Norway, 25 Belgrave Square, London SW1.

Her Royal Highness, Chairman, Women’s Network Forum, this afternoon held a Meeting at Buckingham Palace.

The Countess of Wessex, Global Ambassador, 100 Women in Finance, this evening held a Reception at Buckingham Palace.

St James’s Palace

The Princess Royal, President, Carers Trust, this afternoon visited Camden Carers Centre, Charlie Ratchford Resource Centre, Belmont Street, London NW1, to mark its Twenty-Fifth Anniversary, and was received by Ms Roxane Zand (Deputy Lieutenant of Greater London).

Her Royal Highness, Chancellor, University of London, later opened the University College London Multiscale Imaging Centre at the Anatomy Building, Gower Street, London WC1.

Kensington Palace

The Duchess of Gloucester, Joint Patron, the Learning in Harmony Project, today visited St Paul’s Cathedral School, 2 New Change, London EC4.

St James’s Palace

The Duke of Kent, Grand Master, United Grand Lodge of England, this morning received Mr Matthew Burrows (Secretary, Household Brigade Lodge Number 2614).
