COURT CIRCULAR

Windsor Castle

His Excellency Mr Lim Thuan Kuan was received in audience by The Queen today via video link and presented the Letters of Recall of his predecessor and his own Letters of Commission as High Commissioner for the Republic of Singapore in London.

Mrs Patricia Teh was also received by Her Majesty.

His Excellency Dr César Rodríguez-Zavalla was received in audience by The Queen via video link and presented the Letters of Recall of his predecessor and his own Letters of Credence as Ambassador from the Oriental Republic of Uruguay to the Court of St James’s.

Mrs María Angélica Algorta-Carrau was also received by Her Majesty.

Sir Philip Barton (Permanent Under-Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs) was present.

Clarence House

The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall this morning visited Pinewood School, Bourton, and were received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Wiltshire (Mrs Peter Troughton).

Their Royal Highnesses, Joint Presidents, the Elephant Family, this evening attended a Reception at Sudeley Castle, Winchcombe, Gloucestershire.

Palace of Holyroodhouse

The Duke of Cambridge, Joint Patron, the Royal Foundation of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, and President, the Football Association, this afternoon visited the Spartans Football Club, Ainslie Park Stadium, Edinburgh, and was received by Mr Edward Green (Deputy Lieutenant of the City of Edinburgh).

His Royal Highness, Lord High Commissioner to the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland, later arrived at the Palace of Holyroodhouse and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of the City of Edinburgh (Councillor Francis Ross, the Rt Hon the Lord Provost).

A Guard of Honour found by Balaklava Company, The Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders, 5th Battalion The Royal Regiment of Scotland was mounted in the Forecourt.

Afterwards The Duke of Cambridge was received in the Forecourt by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of the City of Edinburgh when the Rt Hon Lord Provost surrendered to His Royal Highness the Keys of the City, which The Duke of Cambridge returned to him.

St James’s Palace

The Earl of Wessex, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award Foundation, this afternoon chaired a Development Group Meeting via video link.

St James’s Palace

The Princess Royal, accompanied by Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, this morning attended the Annual Chilean Navy Day Service in Westminster Abbey, London SW1, and subsequently was presented with the Chilean Order of Merit, Grand Cross, at Church House Conference Centre, Dean’s Yard.
