COURT CIRCULAR

Windsor Castle

The Queen this morning visited HMS Queen Elizabeth at The Princess Royal Jetty, HM Naval Base, Portsmouth, Hampshire, prior to the Ship’s maiden operational deployment and was received onboard by Captain Angus Essenhigh RN (Commanding Officer) and Commodore Stephen Moorhouse (Commander, UK Carrier Strike Group).

Her Majesty received a briefing on the UK Carrier Strike Group and met sailors and other Service personnel who are about to depart with the Ship.

Clarence House

The Prince of Wales, Patron, Music in Country Churches, this evening visited St Mary’s Church, Bibury, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Gloucestershire (Mr Edward Gillespie).

Palace of Holyroodhouse

The Duke of Cambridge, Lord High Commissioner to the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland, this morning opened the General Assembly at Assembly Hall, Mound Place, Edinburgh.

Afterwards the Rt Hon Nicola Sturgeon MSP (First Minister of the Scottish Government) had an audience with His Royal Highness, Lord High Commissioner to the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland, at the Assembly Hall.

The Duke of Cambridge, Joint Patron, the Royal Foundation of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, this afternoon attended the Scottish Cup Final at Cold Town House, 4 Grassmarket, Edinburgh.

His Royal Highness afterwards visited Extreme E at Knockhill Racing Circuit, Dunfermline, Fife.
