COURT CIRCULAR

Buckingham Palace

The Queen held a Council at 2.30pm.

There were present: the Rt Hon Jacob Rees-Mogg MP (Lord President), the Rt Hon Oliver Dowden MP (Secretary of State for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport), the Baroness Evans of Bowes Park (Leader of the House of Lords and Lord Privy Seal) and the Rt Hon Matthew Hancock MP (Secretary of State for Health and Social Care).

The Most Reverend and Rt Hon the Archbishop of York and the Rt Hon Sir Jeremy Stuart-Smith were sworn in as Members of Her Majesty’s Most Honourable Privy Council.

Mr Richard Tilbrook was in attendance as Clerk of the Council.

The Rt Hon Jacob Rees-Mogg MP had an audience of Her Majesty before the Council.

The Rt Hon Boris Johnson MP (Prime Minister and First Lord of the Treasury) had an audience of The Queen this afternoon.

The Prince of Wales, on behalf of Her Majesty, this morning held an Investiture at St James’s Palace.

By command of The Queen, Mr Alistair Harrison (Marshal of the Diplomatic Corps) called upon His Excellency Professor Arkady Rzegocki at 47 Portland Place, London W1, this morning in order to bid farewell to His Excellency upon relinquishing his appointment as Ambassador from the Republic of Poland to the Court of St James’s.

Clarence House

The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall this afternoon visited the Theatre Royal Drury Lane, Catherine Street, London WC2, and were received by Ms Roxane Zand (Deputy Lieutenant of Greater London).

His Royal Highness, Patron, the Royal Parks, and Her Royal Highness afterwards visited Hyde Park Nursery, Hyde Park, London W2, and were received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Greater London (Sir Kenneth Olisa).

The Prince of Wales, President, The Prince’s Trust, later held a Meeting at St James’s Palace.

His Royal Highness this evening was awarded the Council of Christians and Jews Bridge Award at Spencer House, 27 St James’s Place, London SW1.

The Prince of Wales, Colonel, Welsh Guards, later presided over a Conference at St James’s Palace attended by the Colonels of the Regiments of the Household Division and subsequently entertained the Colonels to Dinner.

Kensington Palace

The Duke of Cambridge this morning attended a Meeting with the Duchy of Cornwall Rural Committee via video link.

The Duke of Gloucester today visited Watford and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Hertfordshire (Mr Robert Voss).

His Royal Highness this morning visited the One Vision Project, Stanborough Park Church, 609 St Albans Road.

The Duke of Gloucester today visited Watford Social Centre for the Blind, Cross Street, to mark their Seventieth Anniversary.

His Royal Highness this afternoon officially opened the Emergency Assessment Unit at Watford General Hospital, Vicarage Road.

The Duke of Gloucester later visited Watford Football Club, Vicarage Road.

The Duchess of Gloucester, Royal Patron, TR14ers Community Dance Charity Limited, today held a Meeting with Mr David Aynsley (Founder, Director, Trustee and Treasurer) via telephone.
