COURT CIRCULAR

Palace of Holyroodhouse

The Queen, accompanied by The Princess Royal, this morning visited the Children’s Wood, 76 Kelbourne Street, Glasgow, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of the City of Glasgow (Councillor Philip Braat, the Rt Hon the Lord Provost), the Chairman (Ms Alison Spurway), Ms Emily Cutts (Director) and local young people.

Her Majesty, escorted by the Director, and Her Royal Highness, escorted by the Chairman, viewed a session in the beekeeping area and met members of the community gardening group and schoolchildren who benefit from the use of the woods.

The Queen, accompanied by The Princess Royal, later visited AAC Clyde Space and Spire Global, Skypark 5, 45 Finnieston Street, Glasgow, and was received by Mr Luis Gomes (Chief Executive).

Her Majesty, escorted by the Chief Executive, and Her Royal Highness, escorted by Mr Graham Turnock (Chief Executive Officer of the United Kingdom Space Agency), having viewed a briefing by the United Kingdom Space Agency, viewed the Clean Room where satellites are produced, before moving to Spire Global where Her Majesty and Her Royal Highness viewed a showcase and demonstrations on data generated by satellites and met members of staff.

By command of The Queen, Mr Alistair Harrison (Marshal of the Diplomatic Corps) telephoned His Excellency Mr Vladimir Beratovic this morning in order to bid farewell to His Excellency upon relinquishing his appointment as Ambassador from Montenegro to the Court of St James’s.

Clarence House

The Prince Charles, Duke of Rothesay, Patron, North Highland Initiative, this morning held a Meeting at Dumfries House, Cumnock, Ayrshire.

His Royal Highness later received Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Aberdeenshire (Mr Alexander Manson).

The Prince Charles, Duke of Rothesay, Patron, the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, this afternoon held a Meeting at Dumfries House.

The Duchess of Cornwall, Patron, the Silver Line, this morning received Dame Esther Rantzen (Founder).

St James’s Palace

The Earl of Wessex and Forfar, Trustee, The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, this morning visited Bonaly Scout Centre, South East Scotland Scouts, 71 Bonaly Road, Edinburgh, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of the City of Edinburgh (Councillor Francis Ross, the Rt Hon the Lord Provost).

His Royal Highness this afternoon visited Keep Scotland Beautiful at Saughton Park, Edinburgh.

St James’s Palace

The Princess Royal, Admiral, Marine Society and Sea Cadets, this afternoon held a Meeting via video link with Mr Martin Coles (Chief Executive Officer).

Her Royal Highness, Royal Patron, Hearing Dogs for Deaf People, afterwards held a Meeting via video link with Mrs Faith Clark upon relinquishing her appointment as Chairman and Ms Christina O’Donovan-Rossa upon assuming the appointment.

The Princess Royal, Warden, Gordonstoun School, subsequently held a Meeting via video link with Dr Eve Poole upon relinquishing her appointment as Chairman and Mr David White upon assuming the appointment.

The Princess Royal, Patron, the Vine Trust, this evening attended the Thirty Fifth Anniversary Dinner on board MV Fingal, Alexandra Dock, Leith, Edinburgh, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of the City of Edinburgh (Councillor Francis Ross, the Rt Hon the Lord Provost).

The Duke of Kent, President, All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club, this afternoon attended the Wimbledon Championships, Church Road, Wimbledon, London SW19.
