COURT CIRCULAR

Palace of Holyroodhouse

The Queen, accompanied by The Princess Royal, this morning visited Edinburgh Climate Change Institute, High School Yards, Infirmary Street, Edinburgh, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of the City of Edinburgh (Councillor Francis Ross, the Rt Hon the Lord Provost) and the Principal and Vice-Chancellor of the University of Edinburgh (Professor Peter Mathieson).

Her Majesty and Her Royal Highness, escorted respectively by Professor David Reay (Executive Director) and Dr Katherine Crowley (Co-Director), toured the Institute, meeting staff and students and viewing demonstrations, before meeting representatives from the Children’s Parliament who presented a commemorative tree to Her Majesty which will be planted in the grounds as part of The Queen’s Green Canopy.

Clarence House

The Prince Charles, Duke of Rothesay, President, The Prince’s Foundation, this morning held a Meeting at Dumfries House, Cumnock, Ayrshire, on architectural and heritage building projects.

His Royal Highness afterwards received Mr E Fraser (Chief Executive, East Ayrshire Council).

The Prince Charles, Duke of Rothesay, President, The Prince’s Foundation and The Prince’s Trust, this afternoon held a Meeting at Dumfries House on programmes in Bristol.

St James’s Palace

The Princess Royal this morning visited the Gannochy Trust Housing Development, Pitcullen Crescent, Perth, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Perth and Kinross (Mr Stephen Leckie).

Her Royal Highness this afternoon visited Harmeny School, 5 Mansfield Road, Balerno, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of the City of Edinburgh (Councillor Francis Ross, the Rt. Hon. the Lord Provost).
