Windsor Castle

By command of The Queen, Mr Alistair Harrison (Marshal of the Diplomatic Corps) called upon His Excellency Mr Torbjörn Sohlström at 27 Portland Place, London W1, this morning in order to bid farewell to His Excellency upon relinquishing his appointment as Ambassador from the Kingdom of Sweden to the Court of St James’s.

Mr Dennis Rensch (Deputy Lieutenant of Essex) was present at Stansted Airport, London, this afternoon upon the Arrival of The President of the Republic of the Niger and welcomed His Excellency on behalf of The Queen.

Mr Dennis Rensch was present at Stansted Airport, London, this evening upon the Arrival of The President of the Republic of Ghana and welcomed His Excellency on behalf of Her Majesty.

Colonel Christopher Sharwood-Smith (Vice Lord-Lieutenant of Bedfordshire) was present at Luton Airport this evening upon the Arrival of The President of the Togolese Republic and welcomed His Excellency on behalf of The Queen.

St James’s Palace

The Princess Royal, Colonel-in-Chief, Royal New Zealand Corps of Signals, this morning held a Meeting via video link with Colonel Paul Dragicevich upon relinquishing his appointment as Regimental Colonel and Colonel Katherine Lee upon assuming the appointment.

Her Royal Highness, Royal Patron, National Coastwatch Institution, afterwards held a Meeting via video link with Commander Lesley Suddes RN upon relinquishing her appointment as Chairman and Mr Clive Pouncey upon assuming the appointment.

The Princess Royal, Colonel-in-Chief, 8th Canadian Hussars (Princess Louise’s), today held a Meeting via video link with Lieutenant Colonel William Thomas Peppard upon relinquishing his appointment of Commanding Officer and Lieutenant Colonel James Hunter upon assuming the appointment.

Her Royal Highness later held a Meeting via video link with Commander Paul Jamieson RN upon relinquishing his appointment as Commanding Officer of HMS Talent.
