Balmoral Castle*

Mr Peter Troughton was received by The Queen this evening when Her Majesty invested him with the Insignia of a Commander of the Royal Victorian Order.

Clarence House

The Prince Charles, Duke of Rothesay, Patron, the National Trust for Scotland, this morning visited House of Dun and Montrose Basin Nature Reserve, Dun, near Montrose, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Angus (Mrs Patricia Sawers).

His Royal Highness this afternoon visited Murray McBay and Company, Fore Street, Johnshaven, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Kincardineshire (Mr Alastair Macphie).

The Prince Charles, Duke of Rothesay afterwards visited Castleton Fruit Farm, Fordoun, Kincardineshire.

St James’s Palace

The Princess Royal this morning witnessed the ship’s company of HMS ALBION undertaking the Ceremony of the Constable’s Dues and attended a Reception at HM Tower of London.

Her Royal Highness, Patron, Maritime UK, this afternoon attended a London International Shipping Week Reception at Trinity House, Tower Hill, London EC3.
