Windsor Castle

The Queen was represented by Brigadier Archie Miller-Bakewell (Private Secretary and Treasurer to the late Duke of Edinburgh) at the Service of Thanksgiving for the Life of Mr Georg von Mallinckrodt which was held in St Margaret’s Church, Westminster Abbey, London SW1, today.

Clarence House

The Prince Charles, Duke of Rothesay this morning visited Amity Fishing Company, Unit 1, Seagate, Peterhead Harbour, and was received by the Marchioness of Aberdeen (Vice Lord-Lieutenant of Aberdeenshire).

His Royal Highness subsequently visited Rora Dairy, Middleton of Rora, Longside, Peterhead.

The Prince Charles, Duke of Rothesay this afternoon visited Glen Garioch Distillery, Distillery Road, Oldmeldrum, Inverurie, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Aberdeenshire (Mr Alexander Manson).

His Royal Highness afterwards visited Inverurie Farmers Market and the Town Centre, Inverurie Town Square.

The Prince Charles, Duke of Rothesay later visited Garioch Heritage Centre, Loco Works Road, Inverurie.

The Duchess of Cambridge this morning visited UCL Institute of Education, University College London, 20 Bedford Way, London WC1.

Her Royal Highness, Joint Patron, the Royal Foundation of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, this afternoon held an Early Years Meeting.

The Duchess of Cambridge, Joint Patron, the Royal Foundation of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, later spoke via telephone to Dr Joan Lombardi (Senior Scholar, Centre for Child and Human Development, and Senior Fellow, Georgetown University Collaborative on Global Children’s Issues).

Her Royal Highness, Joint Patron, the Royal Foundation of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, afterwards spoke to Ms Mandy Saligari (Co-founder and Clinical Director, Charter Harley Street) via telephone.

The Duchess of Cambridge, Joint Patron, the Royal Foundation of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, subsequently spoke to Mr David Glover (Co-founder, 72 Films) via telephone.

St James’s Palace

The Earl of Wessex and Forfar this afternoon visited Broomlee Activity Centre, West Linton, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Tweeddale (Professor Sir Hew Strachan).

His Royal Highness, Honorary Member, the Incorporation of Coopers of Glasgow, this afternoon presented The Earl of Wessex Awards at the Trades Hall, 85 Glassford Street, Glasgow, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of the City of Glasgow (Councillor Philip Braat, the Rt Hon the Lord Provost).

The Earl of Wessex and Forfar this evening attended a Valedictory Dinner at Merchants House, 7 West George Street, Glasgow.

St James’s Palace

The Princess Royal, Patron, Shipwrecked Fishermen and Mariners’ Royal Benevolent Society, this afternoon attended the Annual General Meeting and Awards Ceremony, Fishmongers’ Hall, London Bridge, London EC4.

Her Royal Highness, Fellow, Council for Awards of the Royal Agricultural Societies, afterwards attended the English Panel Awards Ceremony at the House of Lords, London SW1.

The Princess Royal, Colonel-in-Chief, The Royal Canadian Hussars, later received Lieutenant Colonel Malcolm Day (Commanding Officer).

Her Royal Highness, Patron, the Wooden Spoon Society, this evening attended a Reception at Television Centre, 101 Wood Lane, London W12, and was received by Mr Kevin McGrath (Deputy Lieutenant of Greater London).

The Princess Royal, Patron, Sense and Sense International, later attended a Dinner in London.

The Duke of Gloucester, Honorary Air Commodore, this afternoon visited Royal Air Force Odiham, Hook, Hampshire.

St James’s Palace

Princess Alexandra, Patron, this afternoon visited the Queen Mother’s Clothing Guild Packing Week on View Day at St James’s Palace.
