Windsor Castle

His Excellency Mr Ioannis Raptakis was received in audience by The Queen today via video link and presented the Letters of Recall of his predecessor and his own Letters of Credence as Ambassador from the Hellenic Republic to the Court of St James’s.

Mrs Georgia Soultanopoulou was also received by Her Majesty.

Her Excellency Mrs Therese Rath was received in audience by The Queen via video link upon her appointment as High Commissioner for Belize in London.

Mr Anthony Rath was also received by Her Majesty.

The Queen, Captain General, The Royal Regiment of Canadian Artillery, this afternoon visited members of 1st Regiment Royal Canadian Horse Artillery, on public duties at Windsor Castle, to mark the One Hundred and Fiftieth Anniversary of the formation of A and B Batteries, and was received by Brigadier General James Selbie (Colonel Commandant), Captain Ryan Gibney (Captain of the Guard) and Warrant Officer Dan Walsh (Warrant Officer of the Guard).

Her Majesty presented the Captain General’s Sword to representatives of The Royal Regiment of Canadian Artillery.

The Rt Hon Boris Johnson MP (Prime Minister and First Lord of the Treasury) had an audience of The Queen via telephone this evening.

St James’s Palace

The Earl of Wessex and Forfar this morning visited the Workshop Aberfeldy, Units 1B and C, Dunkeld Road, Aberfeldy, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Perth and Kinross (Mr Stephen Leckie).

His Royal Highness subsequently visited Dewar’s Aberfeldy Distillery, Aberfeldy.

The Earl of Wessex and Forfar, Trustee, The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, this afternoon visited Megginch Castle, Eroll, to mark the Thirtieth Anniversary of the Perth and Kinross Duke of Edinburgh’s Association.

The Countess of Wessex, Chairman, Women’s Network Forum, this afternoon chaired a Meeting.

Her Royal Highness, Global Ambassador, this evening held a Reception at St James’s Palace, to celebrate the Twentieth Anniversary of 100 Women in Finance.

The Princess Royal, Colonel-in-Chief, The Royal Logistic Corps, this morning visited the Defence School of Transport and 25 Regiment Royal Logistic Corps, to mark its Twenty Fifth Anniversary, Normandy Barracks, Leconfield, Beverley, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of East Riding of Yorkshire (Mr James Dick).

Her Royal Highness this afternoon visited CatZero, Hull Marina, Kingston-upon-Hull, East Riding of Yorkshire.

The Princess Royal, Patron, UK Coaching, later attended an Awards Reception at the DoubleTree by Hilton Leeds, Granary Wharf House, 2 Wharf Approach, Leeds, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of West Yorkshire (Mr Edmund Anderson).

Kensington Palace

The Duke of Gloucester, Grand Prior, the Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St John of Jerusalem, this afternoon attended the Installation, Investiture and Awards Ceremony for the Commandery of Ards in the Cathedral Church of St Anne, Belfast, and was received by Sir Nigel Hamilton (Vice Lord-Lieutenant of the County Borough of Belfast).

The Duchess of Gloucester this afternoon visited the Police Rehabilitation and Retraining Trust and was received by Dr Len O’Hagen (Deputy Lieutenant of County Down).

Her Royal Highness, Chief Patron, afterwards visited Hope for Youth Northern Ireland, Finnebrogue House, Finnebrogue Road, Downpatrick, and was received by Mr Noel Lamb (Deputy Lieutenant of County Down).

The Duke of Kent, President, the Scout Association, this morning received Ms Jennifer Price upon assuming her appointment as Chairman of the Board of Trustees and Mr Carl Hankinson upon assuming his appointment as UK Chief Commissioner.

His Royal Highness, Patron, St Mungo’s, received Mr Robert Napier upon relinquishing his appointment as Chairman and Ms Joanna Killian upon assuming the appointment.
