Windsor Castle

The Queen was represented by the Duke of Buccleuch and Queensberry KT at the Service of Thanksgiving for the Life of Sir Eric Anderson KT which was held in Eton College Chapel, Windsor, Berkshire, this morning.

St James’s Palace

The Countess of Wessex this afternoon visited NECA Community Garden, Brockley Avenue Allotments, South Shields, South Tyneside, and was received by Mr Gavin Black (Vice Lord-Lieutenant of Tyne and Wear).

Her Royal Highness, Patron, Foundation of Light, this evening attended the Twentieth Anniversary Gala Awards Dinner at the Beacon of Light, Stadium Way, Monkwearmouth, Sunderland, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Tyne and Wear (Mrs Susan Winfield).

St James’s Palace

The Princess Royal this morning visited Aico Limited, Maesbury Road, Oswestry, and was received by Mrs Amanda Thorn (Deputy Lieutenant of Shropshire).

Her Royal Highness this afternoon planted a Tree for The Queen’s Green Canopy at St Barnabas Church of England Primary School, Green Lane, Worcester, and was received by Brigadier Roger Brunt (Vice Lord-Lieutenant of Worcestershire).

The Princess Royal later opened the Canal and River Trust “Unlocking the Severn” Conservation Project at Diglis Lock, Diglis, Worcestershire.

Her Royal Highness afterwards visited Foster and Freeman Limited, Vale Park, Evesham, Worcestershire.

The Princess Royal, Honorary Member, the Society of Merchant Venturers, accompanied by Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, this evening attended the Autumn Banquet, Merchants’ Hall, the Promenade, Clifton, Bristol, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of the County and City of Bristol (Mrs Peaches Golding).

Princess Alexandra was present at the Service of Thanksgiving for the Life of Sir Eric Anderson KT which was held in Eton College Chapel, Windsor, Berkshire, this morning.
