Windsor Castle

The Queen, accompanied by The Earl of Wessex, today launched The Queen’s Baton Relay for the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games from the Forecourt of Buckingham Palace.

Clarence House

The Prince Charles, Duke of Rothesay this morning officially opened the Ballater Old School Development Project, School Lane, Ballater, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Aberdeenshire (Mr Alexander Manson).

His Royal Highness subsequently visited the Rothesay Rooms, the Old Royal Station, Station Square, Ballater.

St James’s Palace

The Earl of Wessex, Honorary President, Real Champions Club, this evening attended a Real Tennis Tournament and Dinner at the Queen’s Club, Palliser Road, London W14.

The Countess of Wessex, Global Ambassador, International Agency for the Prevention of Blindness, this morning visited an Eye Screening Centre at Perseid School, Bordesley Road, Morden, and was received by Mr Christopher Cotton (Deputy Lieutenant of Greater London).

St James’s Palace

The Princess Royal, Chancellor, University of London, this morning opened the Centre for Cancer Drug Discovery at the Institute of Cancer Research, 15 Cotswold Road, Sutton, and was received by Major Christopher Goodwin (Deputy Lieutenant of Greater London).

Her Royal Highness, Patron, English Rural Housing Association, this afternoon opened Dunsfold Rural Housing Development, Miller Lane, Dunsfold, Godalming, and was received by Mr William Biddell (Deputy Lieutenant of Surrey).

The Princess Royal later presented The Queen’s Award for Enterprise to Vision Engineering Limited, the Freeman Building, Galileo Drive, Send, Woking, and was received by Mr Michael Hayman (Deputy Lieutenant of Surrey).

Her Royal Highness subsequently presented The Queen’s Award for Enterprise to Hallmarq Veterinary Imaging Limited, Unit 5, Bridge Park, Merrow Lane, Guildford, and was received by Mr Timothy Wates (Deputy Lieutenant of Surrey).

Kensington Palace

The Duke of Gloucester this morning visited Ulster Supported Employment Limited, 182-188 Cambrai Street, Belfast, to mark its One Hundred and Fiftieth Anniversary and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Belfast (Mrs Fionnuala Jay-O’Boyle).

His Royal Highness, Honorary President, the Somme Association, afterwards visited the Somme Nursing Home, 121 Circular Road, Belfast.

The Duchess of Gloucester, Royal Patron, Prostate Cancer UK, this afternoon visited the Northern Ireland Regional Cancer Centre, Belfast City Hospital, 10 Jubilee Road, Belfast, and was received by Dr John Collins (Deputy Lieutenant of the County Borough of Belfast).

Her Royal Highness, Chief Patron, afterwards visited Fleming Fulton School, Upper Malone Road, Belfast, and was received by Sir Nigel Hamilton (Vice Lord-Lieutenant of the County Borough of Belfast).
