Windsor Castle

Dame Imogen Cooper was received by The Queen at Buckingham Palace today when Her Majesty presented her with the 2019 Queen’s Medal for Music.

Ms Judith Weir (Master of The Queen’s Music) was present.

Sir Thomas Woodcock was received by The Queen at Buckingham Palace this afternoon upon relinquishing his appointments as Garter Principal King of Arms and Genealogist of the Most Honourable Order of the Bath and delivered up to The Queen the Insignia of the Offices when Her Majesty conferred upon him the honour of Knighthood and invested him with the Insignia of a Knight Commander of the Royal Victorian Order.

Mr David White was received by The Queen upon his appointment as Garter Principal King of Arms and Genealogist of the Most Honourable Order of the Bath when Her Majesty handed to him the Insignia of the Offices.

Mr Peter Hill was received by The Queen when Her Majesty invested him with the Insignia of a Commander of the Royal Victorian Order.

The Queen was represented by Mr Timothy Knox (Director, Royal Collection Trust) at the Service of Thanksgiving for the Life of the Hon Lady Roberts (formerly Librarian and Curator of the Print Room, Royal Library, Windsor) which was held in St George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle, this afternoon.

Kensington Palace

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Joint Patrons, the Royal Foundation of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, this afternoon joined a Generation Earthshot Event at the Nash Conservatory, Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, Richmond, and were received by Colonel Jane Davis (Vice Lord-Lieutenant of Greater London).

St James’s Palace

The Earl of Wessex this afternoon met front-line staff of the emergency services involved in the Covid-19 response at the Headquarters of Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service, Sadler Road, Winsford, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Cheshire (Lady Redmond).

His Royal Highness, Trustee, The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, this evening attended a Dinner at Bolesworth Castle, Tattenhall, Chester.

The Countess of Wessex, Colonel-in-Chief, Royal Corps of Army Music, this morning visited the Royal Military School of Music at Gibraltar Barracks, Minley, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Hampshire (Mr Nigel Atkinson).

St James’s Palace

The Princess Royal this afternoon met key workers at the Tolbooth, 82B High Street, Forres, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Moray (Major General the Hon Seymour Monro).

Her Royal Highness later visited AJ Engineering and Construction Services Limited, 25 West Road, Greshop Industrial Estate, Forres.

The Princess Royal subsequently visited Moray Inshore Rescue Organisation, the Boatyard, Findhorn, Forres.

Kensington Palace

The Duke of Gloucester, Vice Patron, National Churches Trust, this afternoon received Mr Luke March (Chairman).

His Royal Highness, Patron, the Worshipful Company of Pattenmakers, and The Duchess of Gloucester this evening attended a Reception at the Reform Club, 104 Pall Mall, London SW1.

The Duchess of Gloucester was present at the Service of Thanksgiving for the Life of the Hon Lady Roberts (formerly Librarian and Curator of the Print Room, Royal Library, Windsor) which was held in St George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle, this afternoon.
