Windsor Castle

The Queen was represented by the Rt Hon Sir John Major KG at the Memorial Service for the Lord Ashburton KG which was held in Winchester Cathedral today.

Her Majesty was represented by the Hon Mary Morrison (Lady in Waiting) at the Service of Thanksgiving for the Life of the Lady Moyra Campbell (Maid of Honour at The Queen’s Coronation and Extra Lady in Waiting to Princess Alexandra, the Hon Lady Ogilvy) which was held in the Cathedral Church of St Anne, Belfast, this afternoon.

St. James’s Palace

The Princess Royal, Guardian, the Chaffinch Trust, this morning attended a Management Team Meeting at Hospitalfield House, Westway, Arbroath, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Angus (Mrs Patricia Sawers).

Her Royal Highness today visited the Scottish Fisheries Museum, St Ayles, Harbourhead, Anstruther, on the occasion of their Fiftieth Anniversary and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Fife (Mr Robert Balfour).

Kensington Palace

The Duke of Gloucester, Patron, British Society of Soil Science, this morning received Dr Bruce Lascelles (President), Mrs Sarah Garry (Executive Officer) and Dr Jacqueline Hannam (President Elect).
