The Queen, Colonel-in-Chief, The Royal Scots Dragoon Guards (Carabiniers and Greys), today received Lieutenant Colonel Fraser McLemen via video link upon relinquishing his appointment as Commanding Officer and Lieutenant Colonel Graeme Craig upon assuming the appointment, and Brigadier David Allfrey upon relinquishing his appointment as Colonel and Brigadier Benjamin Edwards upon assuming the appointment.

General Sir Nicholas Carter was received by Her Majesty upon relinquishing his appointment as Chief of the Defence Staff.

The Rt Hon Boris Johnson MP (Prime Minister and First Lord of the Treasury) had an audience of The Queen via telephone this evening.

The Prince of Wales, President, The Prince’s Trust International, and Vice Patron, the British Council, afterwards attended the Centenary Climate Awards at the Residence of Her Majesty’s Ambassador to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan in Amman.

The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall this evening attended a Reception to mark the Centenary of British-Jordanian relations at the Jordan Museum, Amman.

The Duchess of Cornwall this afternoon visited Princess Taghreed Secondary School for Girls, Amman.

Her Royal Highness, President, WOW — Women of the World, later attended a Reception at the Manara Arts and Culture Centre, Amman.

The Duchess of Cambridge, Joint Patron, the Royal Foundation of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, this morning held an Early Years Meeting.

The Earl of Wessex, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award Foundation, this evening held a Reception.

The Duke of Gloucester, Patron, St George’s Society of New York, this afternoon received Mr Frank Morgan (President) and Mrs Clare Risman (Executive Director).

His Royal Highness, Patron, St George’s Society of New York, this evening attended the Council Advisory Dinner at St James’ Court Hotel, 54 Buckingham Gate, London SW1.

The Duke of Kent, Colonel-in-Chief, The Royal Regiment of Fusiliers, and President, Commonwealth War Graves Commission, this morning attended a Funeral and Burial Service and laid wreaths in remembrance of eight First World War soldiers of 11th Battalion Northumberland Fusiliers, and one unknown soldier, at Tyne Cot Cemetery, Ieper (Ypres), Belgium, and this afternoon attended a Reception at the Old Cheese Factory, Zonnebeke, for members of the families of those who were buried this morning.

His Royal Highness later arrived at Royal Air Force Northolt from Belgium.
