Windsor Castle

His Excellency Mr Nguyen Hoang Long was received in audience by The Queen today via video link and presented the Letters of Recall of his predecessor and his own Letters of Credence as Ambassador from the Socialist Republic of Vietnam to the Court of St James’s.

Mrs Vu Huong Giang was also received by Her Majesty.

Ms Juliet Chua (Director of Finance and Corporate, Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office) was present.

The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall this morning departed Queen Alia International Airport, Amman, Jordan, for Egypt and were received later upon arrival at Cairo Airport by Her Majesty’s Ambassador to the Arab Republic of Egypt (His Excellency Mr Gareth Bayley).

Their Royal Highnesses this afternoon called upon The President of the Arab Republic of Egypt and Mrs Entissar Amer at Al-Ittihadiya Palace.

The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall afterwards visited Al Azhar Mosque, Cairo, where His Royal Highness attended an Interfaith discussion.

The Prince of Wales subsequently visited Bayt al-Razzaz Palace, Cairo.

His Royal Highness afterwards held a Meeting with His Holiness Pope Tawadros II (the Coptic Pope of Alexandria and Patriarch of the See of St Mark) at the Residence of Her Majesty’s Ambassador to the Arab Republic of Egypt.

The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall later visited the Great Pyramid and the Great Sphinx of Giza.

Their Royal Highnesses this evening attended a United Kingdom-Egypt Reception at 9 Pyramids Lounge, Giza.

The Duchess of Cornwall this afternoon visited Ezbet Khairallah community and social enterprise project, Cairo.

Kensington Palace

The Duke of Cambridge, President, United for Wildlife, this morning visited Microsoft Headquarters, Reading, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of the Royal County of Berkshire (Mr James Puxley).

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge this evening attended the Royal Variety Performance in aid of the Royal Variety Charity at the Royal Albert Hall, London SW7, and were received by Colonel Jane Davis (Vice Lord-Lieutenant of Greater London).

St James’s Palace

The Countess of Wessex, Patron, Transform Housing and Support, this morning visited Elmbridge Services, 35 Hersham Road, Walton-on-Thames, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Surrey (Mr Michael More-Molyneux).

St James’s Palace

The Princess Royal, Patron, the Royal College of Emergency Medicine, this morning attended the Forum for Associate Specialist and Staff Grade Doctors in Emergency Medicine Conference via video link.

Her Royal Highness, President, this afternoon attended a Meeting at the British Olympic Association, 101 New Cavendish Street, London W1.

The Princess Royal, Royal Patron, Blond McIndoe Research Foundation, this evening attended a Reception at the Royal College of Surgeons of England, 35-43 Lincoln’s Inn Fields, London WC2, and was received by Mr Kevin Traverse-Healy (Deputy Lieutenant of Greater London).

Kensington Palace

The Duchess of Gloucester, President, Royal Academy of Music, this morning attended a Governing Body Meeting at North House, 27 Great Peter Street, London SW1.

Her Royal Highness, Honorary President, the Lawn Tennis Association, this afternoon visited the National Tennis Centre, 100 Priory Lane, Roehampton, London SW15.

St James’s Palace

The Duke of Kent, Patron, Blood Cancer UK, this evening held a Reception at St James’s Palace.
