The Princess Royal, Patron, the Royal College of Midwives, this morning visited Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust Maternity Services at Saint Mary’s Hospital, Oxford Road, Manchester, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Greater Manchester (Sir Warren Smith).

Her Royal Highness today opened the Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust elevated helipad at Manchester Royal Infirmary.

The Princess Royal this afternoon opened the Timpson University Building “the Nest” at Claverton Road, Roundthorn Industrial Estate, Wythenshawe, Manchester.

The Duke of Gloucester, Grand Prior, the Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St John of Jerusalem, this morning received Mrs Susan le Jeune d’Allegeershecque (Secretary General).

The Duchess of Gloucester, Patron, Civil Service Sports Council, this afternoon received Mr Simon Lee upon relinquishing his appointment as Chief Executive Officer and Brigadier Matthew Bazeley upon assuming the appointment.
