The Queen was represented by the Lord Parker of Minsmere (Lord Chamberlain) at the Service of Thanksgiving for the Life of Dame Vera Lynn which was held in Westminster Abbey, London SW1, today.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, representing The Queen, today carried out the following engagements in Belize to mark Her Majesty’s Platinum Jubilee.

Their Royal Highnesses this morning visited Caracol Natural Monument Reservation, Chiquibul Forest Reserve, Cayo District.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge afterwards attended a training session of the British Army Training Support Unit Belize in the Chiquibul Forest.

The Duke of Cambridge, on behalf of The Queen, this afternoon held an Investiture at the San Ignacio Hotel, San Ignacio.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge later attended a Reception to mark The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee at Cahal Pech ruins, San Ignacio, and were received by the Governor-General of Belize (Her Excellency Ms Froyla Tzalam).
