The Earl of Wessex, Royal Honorary Colonel, The Royal Wessex Yeomanry, this morning attended the Cavalry Memorial Parade in Hyde Park, London W2.

The Earl and Countess of Wessex this afternoon attended a Reception with voluntary and community sector organisations at Government House, St Saviour’s Hill, Jersey, and were received by the Lieutenant Governor and Commander-in-Chief of the Bailiwick of Jersey (Air Chief Marshal Sir Stephen Dalton).

Their Royal Highnesses this evening attended a Dinner given by the Royal Jersey Agricultural and Horticultural Society at the Royal Jersey Showground, la Route de la Trinite, Jersey.

The Princess Royal, President, Riding for the Disabled Association, accompanied by Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, this afternoon attended Badminton Horse Trials and was received by Mrs Jane Jenner-Fust (Deputy Lieutenant of Gloucestershire).

The Queen has been pleased to appoint the Reverend Dr Grant Barclay to be a Chaplain to Her Majesty in Scotland in succession to the Reverend Professor Norman Drummond.

The Queen has been pleased to appoint the Lord Janvrin to be Secretary and Registrar of the Order of Merit in succession to the Lord Fellowes.
