Dame Elish Angiolini was received by The Queen this afternoon when Her Majesty invested her with the Insignia of a Lady of the Most Ancient and Most Noble Order of the Thistle.

The Queen was represented by The Countess of Wessex at the Service of Celebration for the Life and Work of the Lady Elizabeth Shakerley which was held in St Margaret’s Church, Westminster Abbey, this afternoon.

The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall today carried out engagements in Kigali, Rwanda.

His Royal Highness this morning visited the Commonwealth Business Forum Exhibition at Kigali Cultural Exhibition Village.

The Prince of Wales, President, The Prince’s Trust International, this afternoon visited Integrated Polytechnic Regional College.

His Royal Highness later visited Umusambi Village.

The Prince of Wales afterwards attended a Sustainable Markets Initiative Leaders and Chief Executive Officers Meeting at Intare Conference Arena and was received by The President of the Republic of Rwanda.

His Royal Highness, accompanied by The President, subsequently attended the Kigali Summit on Malaria and Neglected Tropical Diseases, at Intare Conference Arena.

The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall this evening attended the Rwanda Fashion Week Fashion Show at Kigali Arena.

The Duchess of Cornwall, Vice Patron, the Royal Commonwealth Society, this morning visited Kigali Public Library in connection with The Queen’s Commonwealth Essay Competition.

Her Royal Highness this afternoon attended a Violence Against Women and Girls Conference at Kigali Convention Centre.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge this afternoon visited the Fitzwilliam Museum, Trumpington Street, Cambridge, and were received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Cambridgeshire (Mrs Julie Spence).

Their Royal Highnesses afterwards visited East Anglia Children’s Hospice, 42 High Street, Milton, and were received by Mr Benjamyn Damazer (Vice Lord-Lieutenant of Cambridgeshire).

Their Royal Highnesses subsequently visited Jimmy’s Cambridge, 1 East Road, Petersfield, and were received by Mrs Caroline Bewes (Deputy Lieutenant of Cambridgeshire).

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge later attended Cambridgeshire County Day at Newmarket July Course, Newmarket.

The Earl of Wessex, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award Foundation, this afternoon chaired a Trustees’ Meeting via video link.

The Princess Royal, Patron, Transaid, this morning attended the Malcolm Group’s Centenary Luncheon at the Donald Malcolm Heritage Centre, Burnbrae Drive, Linwood, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Renfrewshire (Colonel Peter McCarthy).

Her Royal Highness, Patron, Scotland’s Churches Trust, this afternoon attended the Annual Reception at St Andrew’s West, 260 Bath Street, Glasgow, and was received by Mrs Ruth Maltman (Deputy Lieutenant of the City of Glasgow).

The Duke of Gloucester, Grand Prior, the Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St John of Jerusalem, this morning attended the Grand Council Meeting at the DoubleTree Hilton Hotel, 7 Pepys Street, London EC3.
