Windsor Castle

The Duke of Cambridge, on behalf of The Queen, held an Investiture at Buckingham Palace this morning.

By command of Her Majesty, Mr Alistair Harrison (Marshal of the Diplomatic Corps) called upon Her Excellency Ms Gaitri Issar Kumar at India House, Aldwych, London WC2, this morning in order to bid farewell to Her Excellency upon relinquishing her appointment as High Commissioner for the Republic of India in London.

Clarence House

The Prince of Wales, representing The Queen, accompanied by The Duchess of Cornwall, this morning opened the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting at Kigali Convention Centre, Rwanda, and was received by The President of the Republic of Rwanda and the Baroness Scotland of Asthal (Commonwealth Secretary-General).

The Rt Hon Boris Johnson MP (Prime Minister and First Lord of the Treasury) was received afterwards by His Royal Highness.

The Prince of Wales subsequently received Mr Shekhar Mehta (President, Rotary International).

His Royal Highness, on behalf of Her Majesty, this afternoon gave a Reception for new Commonwealth Heads of Government.

The Prince of Wales later received Presidents and Prime Ministers of Commonwealth Nations at Kigali Convention Centre.

The Prince of Wales, on behalf of The Queen, and The Duchess of Cornwall this evening gave a Dinner for Commonwealth Heads of Government at the Marriott Hotel, Kigali.

Their Royal Highnesses afterwards departed Kigali International Airport for the United Kingdom.

Kensington Palace

The Duke of Gloucester this morning opened the Music Gallery at Trinity Hall, Cambridge, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Cambridgeshire (Mrs Julie Spence).

His Royal Highness this afternoon officially opened Unity Campus, Cambridge.
