COURT CIRCULAR

Windsor Castle

The Rt Hon Boris Johnson MP (Prime Minister and First Lord of the Treasury) had an audience of The Queen via telephone this morning.

His Excellency Mr Ulan Djusupov was received in audience by Her Majesty today via video link and presented the Letters of Recall of his predecessor and his own Letters of Credence as Ambassador from the Kyrgyz Republic to the Court of St James’s.

Mrs Djusupova was also received by The Queen.

His Excellency Mr Miguel Berger was received in audience by Her Majesty via video link and presented the Letters of Recall of his predecessor and his own Letters of Credence as Ambassador from the Federal Republic of Germany to the Court of St James’s.

Sir Philip Barton (Permanent Under-Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs) was present.

The Duke of Cambridge, on behalf of The Queen, held an Investiture at Buckingham Palace this morning.

Clarence House

The Prince of Wales this morning visited St Govan’s Chapel, St Govan’s Head, Bosherston, Pembrokeshire, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Dyfed (Miss Sara Edwards).

His Royal Highness this afternoon visited Narberth High Street, Pembrokeshire.

The Prince of Wales, Patron, afterwards visited the University of Wales Trinity St David, College Street, Lampeter, Ceredigion, for the Bicentenary celebrations.

His Royal Highness later opened Hay Castle, Oxford Road, Hay-on-Wye, Herefordshire, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Powys (Mrs Tia Jones).

The Prince of Wales this evening gave a Reception for charities and community groups in Wales.

Kensington Palace

The Duke of Cambridge, Commodore-in-Chief, Submarines, this afternoon received Commodore James Perks upon relinquishing his appointment as Commander, Faslane Flotilla.

St James’s Palace

The Princess Royal, Honorary Fellow, the Nautical Institute, this afternoon attended the Fiftieth Anniversary Conference at the University of Plymouth, Portland Square Building, Plymouth, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Devon (Mr David Fursdon).

Her Royal Highness, Patron, Shorthorn Society of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, this evening attended the Bicentenary and Shorthorn World Conference Tour Reception at the Castle Hotel, Windsor, and was received by Professor Susanna Rose (Deputy Lieutenant of the Royal County of Berkshire).

Kensington Palace

The Duke of Gloucester, Patron, Cultura Trust, this afternoon visited Hylton Castle, Craigavon Road, Sunderland, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Tyne and Wear (Ms Lucy Winskell).

His Royal Highness afterwards visited Rotary Power and Michell Bearings, Simonside East Industrial Park, Waldridge Way, South Shields, to mark the One Hundredth Anniversary of British Engines Limited.

St James’s Palace

The Duke of Kent, Colonel, Scots Guards, this evening attended the Household Division’s Military Musical Spectacular on Horse Guards Parade, London SW1, to commemorate The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.

Princess Alexandra, Vice Patron, this evening attended the Final Concert of the Royal Over-Seas League Annual Music Competition at the Wigmore Hall, 36 Wigmore Street, London W1.
